Trump: I Would Give Non-Criminal Illegal Aliens Legal Status
(AP)
By Greg Richter | Wednesday, 29 Jul 2015 07:35 PM
Donald Trump says as president he would ultimately give some illegal immigrants legal status and isn't ruling out a pathway to citizenship, CNN reports.
That sounds different than what he said during his June 16 announcement speech when critics say he insulted Mexicans.
"When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. … They're sending people that have lots of problems," he said then. "They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."
Those who are not committing crimes could find legal status under a Trump administration, he told CNN's Dana Bash in comments aired Wednesday on CNN's "The Situation Room."
"It depends," Trump told Bash. "Look, it sound cold, and it sounds hard. … Our country is going to hell. We have to have a system where people are legally in our country."
While Mexico makes it hard for immigrants to enter, Trump said, "With us they walk across, … immediately they're members, call them members of our country. It's not right. "
One of Trump's GOP rivals, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, appeared immediately afterward, saying Trump's comments sound a lot like amnesty.

NO AMNESTY
Don't reward the criminal actions of millions of illegal aliens by giving them citizenship.

How a man as smart as Trump once was could do this turn of events is just unbelievable. But he did, and there's no question about it. Will he realize his error and correct his stance? It's possible, but doubtful.

I can't believe he was dumb enough to come out and say this again! So many people did not want to believe this was true of him.
Perhaps it has something to do with his recent suck up to amnesty supporters at Fox News and the Koch Brothers?
Anyway.... the Trump party is over. Please post your comments here and we will circulate this important article and report right away today!

Very disturbing to hear Trump use Amnesty supporter talking points we have heard over and over from the amnesty camp since 2006... terms like "out of the shadows" and "jobs Americans wont do"
Trump has been in business long enough to know there are no jobs Americans wont do and have not done over the decades for a fair wage.

PS: Very interesting quote where he is talking about healthcare and he says we need to "knock down the borders and let people compete" which is an outlook on healthcare that sounds so much like the outlook of those destroying America's borders!Last edited by ALIPAC; 07-30-2015 at 05:01 PM.

While sorely disappointed, this is why I was distant when he first announced. Announcing as a republican pretty much trumpeted that Trump would eventually come to this conclusion. He stayed so strong, I even went to bat for him, knowing republicans are seldom truthful. Athough, I still highly believe that we (anti-amnesty groups) need to win
something of relative significance to become noticed
When Rasmussen ( I believe) reports that immigration was third priority in a national poll, we are not strong enough. Is there a new and different America already out there? Are we that ineffective at educating America about this?
Although he is not good, if no other choices are available than we already know, I trust him more than I do a democrat or professional republican politician.

Trump in the political arena for the top job means he will have to be inclusive of all in his statements. It would be counter-productive for his campaign to speak bluntly as he did at first and risk hate campaigns against him. A successful, tuff businessman looks better to me than a Bush or a Clinton and their spouses in the White House. Hopefully, more details of his plan will follow and his VP selection will be very important also. Palin ruined McCain.

Trump
I personally asked Trump how he was going to removed millions of illegals. His response was ALL illegals will be sent back to their counties. If they want to apply for legal citizenship the "good ones" can apply. NO different then the immigration laws we have which are not enforced. Keep attacking Trump and twisting something that isn't there and you will lose membership.

Trump mentions removing all illegals from the country but doesn't say how it'll be done. Prisoners can be shipped out per usual secure transport, but how will the others be rounded up and removed? He probably doesn't have the details yet and doesn't want to provide fodder for the left. At least his plan is to remove them all for now. His idea to grant the "good ones" legal status is also vague. I can see a scenario where they are removed and then find it very difficult to come back-- another point it would behoove him not to dwell on. Right now as a front-runner he's the best we've got, unless Santorum or Walker move up. I think there's a LOT he can't expand on right now.

Our apologies, our video malfunctioned and did not play the full 7 minutes with the part about immigration. Here is the entire video at CNN. from yesterday July 29, 2015
http://www.cnn.com/2015/07/29/politi...are-flip-flop/
The video we put up on youtube did not completely upload for some reason.
Again we apologize for this and for the double emails sent today since we had to issue a correction.
