I support Trump, but I also believe in being honest with oneself.
Well like I said, the language skills are so low now in our country that people don't know the difference between a noun which doesn't have a past tense and a verb word which has a different meaning altogether.

Why didn't you google the right word?

You're not a mind reader, which means you have absolutely no way of knowing what Trump's meaning was. With that said, I'm familiar with the slang word "schlong" .... as most people are. The word is most commonly used when referring to a males genitalia. You are failing to realize that the general population's understanding of the word is the same as mine. Not everyone is going to run out and google the words as you did. They are going to associate what he said with the word and definition they know.

I think we can all agree that he could have used a much less controversial word to make his point.

There's nothing controversial about the word he used. And no I'm not a mind reader, so I have no idea why anyone would want to make a controversy out of a perfectly suitable slang term for what he was talking about. I can of course speculate the obvious.

I've got better things to do with my time, so I'll respond with one last comment. Yes, the word was very controversial. If it wasn't, we wouldn't being have this discussion right now.

If You Care About Trump’s ‘Schlonged’ Comment, You’re a Dumb Schmuck

The fuddy-duddies are out in force.

There are plenty of reasons to label Donald Trump vulgar: his attacks on Sen. John McCain (R-AZ)’s war record, his oblique reference to Megyn Kelly’s menstruation. But for those tut-tutting Trump’s characterization of Barack Obama’s 2008 run against Hillary Clinton – lighten up.

Here’s what Trump said. “Everything that’s been involved in Hillary has been losses,” Trump averred. “Even her race to Obama, she was going to beat Obama. I don’t know who’d be worse. I don’t know. How does it get worse? She was favored to win and she got schlonged.”

Schlong, of course, is Yiddish for penis. So she got reamed. Or screwed. Or any other plethora of English-language equivalents.

But no, Trump’s vulgarity is suddenly the talk of the town. Not Hillary’s lies about Trump appearing ISIS promotional videos. The fact that Hillary Clinton must face down that awful sexist New Yorker who made a foreign-language reference to a penis.

Well, bring forth the fainting couch.

Jennifer Palmieri, Hillary’s campaign communications director, tweeted, “We are not responding to Trump but everyone who understands the humiliation this degrading language inflicts on all women should.”

Yes, Hillary surely feels degraded by Trump’s comments. Hillary, that delicate little flower who campaigns with a woman who labeled her 5-year-old sister “sex property” and dropped a false rape allegation against an innocent man. Hillary, that Arkansas belle who attacks her husband’s sexual assault victims. Hillary, that magnificent specimen of feminism, who laughs at legally defending a child molester. Hillary, that blooming rose of womanhood, who rides her husband’s semen-stained coattails to the White House.

What’ll she do if she hears the word “schlong”?

Now, it may be true that Hillary herself has been known to drop some rather salty language of her own, and toss a few lamps here and there. But it’s not as though her party is filled with such characters.

It’s not as though Barack Obama wrote a letter to a fifth-grade schoolteacher in which he labeled Tea Partiers “tea baggers,” a term of derision used by the left that makes reference to a man dangling his testicles above another person’s mouth. (Ironically, Obama didn’t even realize he was using derogatory language when he wrote “tea-baggers” – he wrote, “I do have to challenge you, though, on the notion that any citizen that disagrees with me has been ‘targeted and ridiculed,’ or that I have ‘made fun’ of tea-baggers.”) And it’s not as though Vice President Joe Biden dropped the same “tea-baggers” language with regard to gun-owners. It’s not as though in 2008, Obama labeled Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin a hog, stating, “you can put lipstick on a pig… it’s still a pig.” In fact, Hillary said in her book Hard Choices that the Obama campaign wanted to trot her out to attack Palin “for being a woman.”

But no, only Trump is a vulgarian. All the rest of our politics is highbrow and respectful.

If you believe that, you’re a schmuck.

But the fact is schlonged means to hit, beat up, it's a different word than "schlong" altogether. But anyway, even if it wasn't, it means she lost and has nothing to do with anything sexual, male or vulgar.

    Our press is so stupid.

But, thank you Ben Shapiro for putting everything into proper perspective!
