Is Mexico Government Opinions Affecting United State Laws?
Mexican Government Expresses "Full Agreement" with Arizona SB1070 Setback:
Published April 13, 2011
Politics: EFE
The Mexican government expressed its "full agreement" with a U.S. court's rejection of a motion by the state of Arizona to lift a stay blocking enforcement of parts of law SB1070, a measure aimed at criminalizing undocumented immigrants.
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton did not abuse her authority in blocking some of the more controversial provisions of the state law, such as the one obliging police to check the immigration status of people they "suspect" of being in the country illegally.
Mexico and 10 other Latin American countries filed friend of the court briefs supporting the U.S. Justice Department's challenge to SB1070, the Mexican foreign ministry noted in a statement.
"Mexico will continue employing all the necessary measures and turning to all the available authorities with the aim of responding in a firm and immediate manner to any violation of the basic rights of Mexicans, wherever they may be and independent of their migration status," the statement concluded.
SB1070, which partially entered into force last July 29, was rejected by the Hispanic community both within and outside Arizona and was followed by an economic boycott against the state. More than a dozen U.S. state legislatures are considering passing laws modeled on SB1070.
The law has run into numerous lawsuits by civic groups who fear that it will lead to racial discrimination against people who appear to be foreigners or allegedly have a "foreign-sounding" accent.

I would like to have a discussion with Alipac members concerning news article statements and see if this news should be shard with all citizens of the United States, because if our Country is led by "Mexico and 10 other Latin American countries' opinions this issue must be addressed, because the the U.S. do not set laws for Mexico Country, nor do the United States interfere with Mexico immigration laws.

The kids of illegals get citizenship here because they claim to fall under US Jurisdiction, but all these countries have just admitted in a court of law to a legal claim on the illegals. So wouldn't that be admitting that the illegals, and their kids, fall under the Jurisdiction of their native countries and not the US?

Our so called "leaders "invite the president of mexico to scold this country ( in our own Congress!) for having the audacity to dare enforce immigration law against his invading forces, (while receiving a standing ovation nonetheless) and one has to ask if mexico's opinion is having an influence on US law?
For additional considerations, mexico was allowed to file a friend of the court brief in opposition to SB1070. I would say at the least, the perception is that mexico is having a tremendous and detrimental influence over this nation and our unwillingness to enforce immigration law across the board.

"Look at that. Mexico admitted the illegals fall under Mexican Jurisdiction and not the US. Does that mean that part in the 14th amendment about Jurisdiction applies here? "
I HAVE SAID THIS FOR YEARS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
they are still under the jurisdiction of mexico , otherwise they would
not have the right to seek their countries consulate when they get in trouble
The meaning of "jurisdiction" has been twisted by the liberal progressives that hate this country , they want to flood us with the 3rd world , its how they get control
And judging by the new census numbers they are doing a pretty darn good job of doing it

I have never heard of any President that led the United States allowing another drug and murder infested Country advise the U.S. of which laws should be enforced. Even when President Bush led this Country as President he never allowed any other Country to interfere with United States laws. Such issue should be addressed, and dealt with to cease the negative advice.

The illegals still belong to mexico. We need to return them to their homeland. Ship them all out including the bonus babies.
