You're so right GeorgiaPeach. Think about all of our "young" people with non-violent drug convictions and felony records who can't vote and can't get a job. I bet they'd like a pardon and a clean record, too, and to me they're far more deserving of it than a foreign DREAMER in our country in violation of US immigration law.

Expungement or Sealing of Adult Criminal Records
Many adult criminal records may be sealed or expunged, which enables you to say "No" in many situations when you're asked about your criminal history.
Many states allow you to expunge, seal or otherwise "hide" or "destroy" your criminal record. Generally, if a criminal record is expunged or sealed, it's as though the crime never occurred and you can legally say (to a potential employer, for example) that you were never charged or convicted of a crime.
State laws vary tremendously as to which conviction and arrest records can be expunged. See the articles below for details on the rules in your state, and on how to begin the expungement process.
If you are interested in sealing a juvenile record, refer to our article, Expunging or Sealing a Juvenile Court Record.
The Basics

A narrow group of defendants who have served their sentences may ask the court to vacate their convictions, which will enable them to enter a new plea. This is not the same as sealing or expunging the record of conviction.
Federal Convictions
Expunging federal convictions presents a challenge.
- Sealing a Federal Adult Criminal Record
Federal judges in some federal circuits have broad, inherent powers to expunge conviction records. - Dismissing (or “Sealing”) a Federal Record for Drug Possession
Convictions for possessing small amounts of certain drugs may be dismissed. - Sealing a Federal Juvenile Drug Possession Record
Juveniles who possessed small amounts of certain drugs for the first time, who successfully completed probation, may be able to have their records expunged. - Presidential Clemency: Pardons, Commutations, and Reprieves
- The president of the United States can grant pardons, commutations, and reprieves.

This is very bad - if true.
There are some gang banger amount the 'dreamers' and anchor babies. There are some criminals for sure.
I hope I can explain this when I say I think the so-called dreamers, and anchor babies, that are not gang members or blatant criminals, are the most dangerous to this country.
These have been educated well in our schools, with extra teaching and attention. They did not let this go to waste - they took full advantage of it. They then, because of ethnicity, were given preferences for college, at our expense - and for jobs. They also took advantage of that.
Why would they be the most dangerous? Because they not only became educated - they learned our system - how to game our systems - our weaknesses. They were also raised on a doctrine of disdain for the American people and the idea that parts of the US belongs to Mexico and they intend to get it back - and they are well on their way to doing it.
Quite frankly, I can't think of a reason to allow them to stay. We have educated them, medicated them, housed them for all this time. We have done enough - send them home.
As to their having been here, and not wanting to pull up roots - that's one of those statements that we need to walk around, and consider it closely. For one thing, just because they came here, doesn't mean they left their culture. They are still more closely tied in culture to Mexico than not. The families didn't mind 'pulling up their roots' (where they truly had roots) and bringing them here.
Mexico is doing pretty well now, they would have a good chance of using all that knowledge and experience in their own country.
Please say that isn't what is going to happen. If it is, we might as well forget about cleaning out this country - because that's the ticking time bomb.

They gotta go! When they're here as children they're stealing benefits and when they're of working age they're stealing jobs. There is NO WAY they can stay here. They gotta go. Pronto.

Trixie I definitely "get" what you're saying. These kids have never had NO told to them with meaning. They've been coddled and treated as extraordinary their whole lives. They BELIEVE themselves to be extraordinary and above the law. They are not going to take this laying down. I believe if there is ANY kind of legal battle coming, it should take place on THEIR side of the border. Although they believe they have rights here, they technically DO NOT. So let them battle it out from their HOME Country... not ours!

Yes, they have been coddled, but they know they don't belong here. They don't care. They want o stay, change this country, and they are going to do it, unless something is stopped.
It is not as if they are being returned to a country that is going to persecute them - at least not the Mexicans. Mexico is an up and coming country, it's on the investment list for the big guys.
A lot of people still think of illegals as peasants in white clothes, big straw hats and shoes made of tires. They are far from that.

I saw far too many "Dreamers" rioting and destroying things to get their way to have any inclination to let them stay here for more sedition. JMO
