Thread: The Wonderful Comment Left On My Blog by a Dreamer

This is the comment that a dreamer left on my entry about the DREAM act being shot down.

"You're an idiot. Children of immigrants come here to get a better life, and if they've been living here for years and are basically Americanized, why would you deny them the chance for a better future?! Shame on you, you're a scum bag. "

I did not approve it to be posted of course. Apparently this person believes that I single handedly defeated the DREAM act and it was not the will of the majority of Americans.

Children of immigrants are one thing, children of illegal aliens is a different issue. One came here legally, the others are invaders breaking the law on a daily basis to steal resources needed by legal citizens.

He or she is the idiot, not you. Rewarding illegal behavior only generates more of it. The DREAM Act was VERY bad for our nation. The American people saw that and opposed it in droves. Who cares what one idiot says, who's most likely an anchor baby and just out to get the benefits of citizenship they don't deserve! Of course our enemies are not going to say nice things to us, especially the radical nutjobs who are in favor of the DREAM (nightmare) Act.

Sounds like some moron from the US Chamber of Commerce or National Council of La Raza to me.

The standard illegal saying we are racists against all immigration. I should learn spanish maybe to see what "illegal" means in spanish". I think it must mean something like "great deserving one" or some nonsense.

Human nature, give people something & they want more over the years they grow angry at those providing the "free stuff". Somewhat like biting the hand that feeds you.

Personally no matter how much we give or do for some they will never be pro America. Public schools have failed big time on this issue due to political correctness.

Somebody is really confused, illegal aliens are not immigration of any type, they are foreign invaders. Also now she is saying the children come here by themselves, they are not dragged here by their parents which is all we heard before?

Whatever the case, it's obvious the parents bring their kids here to continue the family crime tradition, kind of like the Mafia, the parents steal jobs from Americans, the kids steal health care, education, and then jobs from Americans.

Tell this brat nobody is denying her the chance for a better future, she can go to her home country and apply for a student visa like everyone else in the world has to!!! Plus that is the real way to become "Americanized", not by sneaking in, living in a Mexican barrio, taking Chicano studies classes, and stealing from us!!!

I suspect this person's motivation is less about becoming a citizen and more about getting in-state tuition and more free benefits. Apparently K through high school education isn't enough, they want us to pay their college expenses as well. Once they have the free college education, they will want preference in hiriing.

I really wonder what they would say if we said:

"Sure, we'll give you green cards. But you will be fully ineligible for any state or federal benefits including free education for children, college tuition aid or state/fed scholarships, no welfare, no public assistance of any kind until your an adult, finish college, and then recieve citizenship"

I bet that wouldn't be enough for them, its not citizenship and the ability to work that are the big things they want but public entitlements.

Might I suggest taking your e-mail address off everything you post!
