Twelve shot, five dead — and no one arrested — in 10 hours of mayhem in the city

Victims were felled in Brooklyn, Bronx and Queens in a shooting spree that started Friday and ended Saturday evening.

A bloody stretch of gunfire across the city struck 12 victims — but no arrests have been made.

A bloody stretch of gunfire left five people dead and another seven wounded in a violent start to the city’s weekend, cops said.

The slain included two people in Brooklyn with a combined 77 prior arrests and a Bronx criminal gunned down by two men, police reported.
None of the killers — including one sporting a gold grill in his mouth — was arrested following the nine incidents.

The shooting started Friday and ended before 5 p.m. Saturday.

Three people were killed and two wounded in the Bronx, two killed and four wounded in Brooklyn and one wounded in Queens, cops said.

Tyrek Singleton, 28, whose criminal past included arrests in Pennsylvania and the Bronx for drugs, shoplifting and robbery, was the first fatality.

Singleton died about 6 p.m. on Friday from a gunshot to the midsection outside the Adams Houses on Tinton Ave. A second man who survived the shooting told cops there was no beef before two men opened fire.

The night’s second fatal shooting followed at 8:30 p.m. when two men with staggering rap sheets were gunned down after an East New York, Brooklyn, street dispute, cops said.

Tevin Beckles, 21, who had 25 prior arrests, and Randolph Williams, 37, who had 52, were both shot in the chest on Pennsylvania Ave. near Glenmore Ave. and died at Brookdale University Hospital. A .38-caliber handgun was recovered at the murder scene, officials said.

The last two murder victims were wounded in the Bronx within two hours early Saturday.

Police found Pablo Pagan dead outside his Bronx apartment in the Murphy Houses about 2:15 a.m. He had taken a bullet to the head.
Two hours later, 24-year-old Marco Castillo was shot to death at Ward and Westchester Aves. during a fight with two men, police said.

Cops said a man in a blue hooded sweatshirt started a fight with Castillo, but when it looked like he would lose, the punk’s friend, who flashed a row of gold teeth, pulled a gun and shot the 24-year-old in the head and chest.

Earlier this month, the city enjoyed a seven-day stretch, from Oct. 7 through Oct. 13, without a single homicide.
