Twitter attacked by hackers on Amnesty vote day
Just got word that Twitter was attacked by hackers that were redirecting users to offensive websites and possible malware attacks.
Very interesting that someone tried to disrupt Twitter on the day of the Amnesty vote in the US senate when people are using Twitter to warn other Americans about the Amnesty vote since there is a conservative media blackout on Fox and Drudge.
Twitter attacked while illegal alien Amnesty supporters call the ALIPAC lines hundreds of times over and over again trying to disrupt our ability to communicate with others.

A piece of JavaScript code that can be embedded in messages on Twitter has the potential to retweet itself and redirect the reader's browser to other sites -- notably a hard-core pornography site.

DEVELOPING: Hackers exploited a security flaw on the popular micro-blogging site Twitter, retweeting malicious code, activating pop-ups, and even exposing users to an unwanted sight: hard-core pornography.
As of 9:50 a.m. EST, a post to Twitter's status blog said that the security flaw had been fixed, simply stating "The exploit is fully patched." This confirms what a spokesperson for the company told popular tech news site Mashable ten minutes later: “It should now be fully patched and is no longer exploitable.â€
