Thread: TX: Another Question for Sen. Hutchison.

Why Do You Have to Call Washington, DC to find out when she'll be home?

I called the Dallas office of Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison today to ask if she had any townhall or other public meetings scheduled locally over the Memorial Day break. Her staff member advised me that "all of Sen. Hutchison's scheduling is done in DC".

I then asked if she could at least tell me whether Sen. Hutchison would be in Texas over Memorial Day, and during what dates. No, she couldn't. If you are a Texas resident who is going to be calling one of Sen. Hutchison's offices, please consider adding this question to your list:

"Why should the people who elected Sen. Hutchison to the U.S. Senate have to call Washington, D C at their own expense to find out when she will be available to speak with them in person in Texas?
