Thread: TX GOP vs. National RNC Chair

This is a statement on the front page of the Texas GOP:

The RNC has voted to create the new office of General Chairman, and has elected Sen. Mel Martinez to fill the position. I along with National Committeeman Bill Crocker and National Committeewoman Denise McNamara voted against Sen. Martinez’s candidacy for a variety of reasons, including his position on illegal immigration and his past presidency of Florida’s trial lawyers association. Sen. Martinez said in his acceptance speech that the American Dream should be available to all who “play by the rules”. Let’s hope he applies the same standard to the illegal immigration issue.

I agree with Michelle Malkin..........

He is "squishy" on illegal immigration.
