NumbersUSA Announces Pro-Borders DC Rally in April

    From: Roy Beck, President, NumbersUSA

    Date: Monday 19MAR07 8 p.m. EDT

Looking for a way to counter the open-borders protests? Attend big DC pro-borders rally in April

    DEAR FRIENDS,

Ever since the mass pro-illegal-alien rallies a year ago, many of you have been pushing for an opportunity to make your views and presence known in a Washington D.C. protest.

Here is your chance to do some travel and put your body on public display as standing for the rule of law and against rewards for illegal immigration.

Hold Their Feet To The Fire
    April 22-25 (Sunday - Wednesday)
White House Rally on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.

For those of you who have really wanted to hook up with a lot of other people to send a message to the national media and Members of Congress through a public protest, this is your first -- and perhaps best -- chance this year.

The chief host of this event is San Diego radio host Roger Hedgecock who has held several of these in the past -- but none anywhere near as large as this one. His co-host is FAIR (Federation for American Immigration Reform). FAIR has organized and sponsored most of the national immigration reform events over the last three decades.

Click for all information and to register for the event.

More than two dozen radio talk show hosts from around the country have already signed up to be a part of this three-day event. (See the list lower in this email.)

They will be set up in a "Radio Row" and broadcasting live each day, amplifying the reach of the event hundreds-fold.

NumbersUSA's media coordinator Caroline Espinosa, myself and other staff have been invited to be guests on many of these shows during the broadcasts, and we will be participating in most of the events.

The schedule of activities includes rallies, press conferences, live interviews with Congressmen and Senators, and other receptions and special events designed to put radio hosts, listeners, and hundreds of activists together at the front lines of the illegal alien amnesty debate. There also will be plenty of time for you to visit congressional offices. (Try to set up meetings before you leave home.)

WHITE HOUSE RALLY -- APRIL 22

The most important public protest event will be at 3:30 Sunday afternoon, April 22, in Lafayette Park just across the street from the north side of the White House.

Once again, the White House rally is being sponsored by D.A. King and his Dustin Inman Society of Georgia. They are the ones who have coaxed, educated and guided the Georgia legislature into passing some of the best immigration laws in the country. They are models for activists in every state and locality.

CLICK HERE for more details on the White House rally.

For more on D.A. King's great work (and to contribute to this horribly underfunded but excessively successful organization), go to:

FUNDRAISER FOR JAILED BORDER PATROL AGENTS

FAIR states this about its Tuesday night event:

Hold Their Feet to the Fire participants will also take up the cause of Ignacio Ramos and Jose Alonso Compean, the two Border Patrol officers who are serving long prison sentences for having defended themselves and the American public against an illegal alien drug smuggler.

The wives and other family members of the two officers will be in Washington pleading the cases of the two men and will be at the "Defend Those Who Defend Us" fundraising reception, hosted by FAIR. We hope that you will join us at this event and show your support by helping us to raise much needed funds for the legal defense costs of Ignacio Ramos and Jose Alonso Compean. Advance registration is required if you would like to attend this special fundraising reception, meet the Ramos and Compean families and show your support for the unjustly imprisoned Border Patrol officers. We are also asking for a minimum donation of $25, which will go towards the legal defense of these men.

That's going to be HUGE. Heard John and Ken say today they'd do their broadcast from there a couple days too. Probably many of the talk show hosts will also.

A lot of people have been asking for such a rally. Sounds as if it's getting some traction. Hopefully it'll go off large.

There’s an old expression that if you want to get politicians to see the light, make them feel the heat. That’s just what FAIR and dozens of radio talk show hosts from around the country are planning in April.

FAIR’s annual Hold Their Feet to the Fire rally in Washington DC will be held April 23rd to the 25th.

Teaming up once again with popular San Diego talk show host Roger Hedgecock, FAIR and other advocates of true comprehensive immigration reform are gearing up for this year’s events where the stakes are even higher

Dozens of talk hosts from across the country have already made plans to attend this year’s Hold Their Feet to the Fire and will broadcast live from “Radio Row” on Capitol Hill with a unified voice against illegal alien amnesty. In conjunction with hundreds of listeners, activists, and congressional supporters, the event is designed to be a high profile, synergistic effort to pressure Congress not to pass illegal alien amnesty. This year’s event is expected to be the largest ever, with widespread media coverage.

    ROGER HEDGECOCK

    New Website Keeps You Informed

Thanks to STEVE SARVEIL for creating new website for ROGER'S LISTENERS who want a secure border, no blanket amnesty, free the border patrol agents & want to travel with Roger to DC April 21-25 2007. Informed Voter is now up and running.

We the people are going to hold accountable those who work for US and demand they enforce our nations laws, secure our nations borders, do not reward those who violate our laws (amnesty) and do their job to provide for the common defense as they are sworn to do. You can make this happen. The first step is a continual process of staying informed. This is one reason you are here. The next steps are those of taking action. If you are not able to join the group going to Washington DC this April, you can be equally as effective in these efforts by joining the "Home Team". You may sign up here to receive notices of late breaking news and what actions you can take on a regular basis to make sure the United States of America remains the great nation it has been for your children and generations to come.

For information on the details or travel packages (rates to be determined), contact sandra49@pacbell.net or call toll free 866-929-0098 or visit www.rogerhedgecock.com.

America needs your help. Illegal aliens and their friends in Congress are trying to derail legislation that would strengthen our borders and keep illegal immigrants from getting driver's licenses. It's time to come to Washington, D.C. and tell Congress in person what you have been telling them over the phone and in letters and faxes. This is your chance to tell Congress directly — we're tired of America selling out to cheap labor and corruption.

Now's the time to join Roger Hedgecock, top rated radio talk show host in San Diego, California (KOGO/AM 600), and the FAIR Congressional Task Force as they lead an immigration reform army to Washington, D.C. April 23-28, 2005.

Over the last 10 years, Roger has taken large groups of his listeners to Washington, D.C. to lobby Congress on key issues. This year he is mobilizing some of America's most influential radio personalities from around the country in a national effort culminating in direct citizen lobbying for immigration reform.

Some of the dynamic radio hosts joining Roger in this crusade are John and Ken (KFI, Los Angeles), Bruce Jacobs (KFYI, Phoenix), Mike Siegel (KTTH, Seattle), and Lars Larson (Westwood One) to name a few. They will be broadcasting live, discussing the need for immigration reform and interviewing congressional leaders.

We are taking our message directly to Congress, and we need your help. Sign up today to visit Washington, D.C. this April and make your voice heard.

Join us in Washington, D.C. as we confront Congress and demand:
    No Licenses for Illegal Aliens!
    No Amnesty for Illegal Aliens!
    Secure our Borders!
