Thread: TX Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison Letter Re Border Security

I wrote to the president this morning and told him that we need to let the act of enforcing our exisiting laws take care of the illegal immigrants when the jobs dry up for them. I also invited him to my house for cinco de mayo.

Do you suppose he will show up? LOL Or do you suppose he will invite all his illegal alien friends to celebrate cinco de mayo in the white house????

Wouldn't that be a pisser if all the Mexicans, legal and illegal, in this section of town couldn't have their relatives come across the border for their big celebrations because secret service had all the roads blocked?

I didn't invite the President to stay a WEEK in my house like I have invited many of the senators because I figure he surely has far more important things to do. The Senate obviously isn't doing much of anything so they seem more expendable.

WEll, I haven't heard from Sen. Hutchison - but she is tapdancing.

'Guest Worker' is amnesty -.

People, they are not going to check out millions and million of illegals - they just aren't.

They aren't going to send anyone home - they just aren't.

They say they can't deport 12 million - well there are more than 12 million that won't qualify for the amnesty - so what are they going to do with them.

This is blanket amnesty - total.

Sen Hutchison has been in office for many, many years. She has done nothing - nothing - except make some vague statements.

She is from Texas, she knows the problems. She knows how this is destroying our state and breaking it's taxpayers, ruining the education system, stressing our infrastructure. Texas is rushing toward a shortage of clean water - the illegals only bring that on faster.

You might give some lawmakers a little wiggle room on this - if it hasn't come to their state until recently. But she has known about it since the last amnesty and she has done nothing.

Since she is aware of all the problems with this situation - she should have been making speeches on the Senate floor, making the rounds of talk shows, writing op-ed pieces, having town hall meetings - heck, standing on the street corner.

She has played ball with the corporations - now it is her turn to play 'kinda bad cop' in the charades -

nntrixie, I agree 100%! People who live in border states for more than a year have no excuse!

they all talk about the education system in TX and yet they continue to allow thousands upon thousands of illegal aliens' kids attend our schools, start out in the middle of the year, and come and go at will to disrupt our schools.

I really don't find it productive at all. And it definitely ceased to be amusing long ago.
