U.S.-Mexico Trade Tensions, on a Micro Scale
California distiller J.B. Wagoner is blaming a Mexican trade group for barring him from this weekend's tequila festival here in Southern California. He can't call his agave liquor 'tequila' because it wasn't made in Mexico. And anti-illegal immigration groups are upset about designer Judi Werthein's 'survival sneaker." A little flashlight and compass are attached to the laces, plus a border map is in the sole. On sale in San Diego, she's giving them away at the border.
