Will email mine, Wyden and Smith. Don't know how well they will listen, as they never seem to, but I am going to give it a try.

I called my Senators about this, and it was clear that Burr's office was VERY familiar with Section 220, so they must be getting plenty of calls and e-mails.

Johnny Isakson's office claims he is actively working against it and will introduce an amendment, but Sex Be Shameless (Saxby Chambliss) office was pretty non-committal when I spoke to them. Sex Be is also pro guest worker which irks me to no end!
Knowing the sell-out history of our illustrious Senate, I'm calling my Congressman's office next.

1.--Ordered, That on Friday, January 12, 2007, at 9:30 a.m., the
Senate resume consideration of S. 1, a bill to provide greater
transparency in the legislative process; provided that the Senate
proceed to the consideration, en bloc, of Amdt. No. 1, as modified,
offered by the Senator from Massachusetts (Mr. Kerry) and Amdt. No. 10
offered by the Senator from Louisiana (Mr. Vitter); further, that the
time until 9:50 a.m. run concurrently on both amendments, with the time
equally divided and controlled between the two Leaders, or their
