Vote for the BEST Candidate
I'm on my soapbox for a moment. If in your heart you believe that Mitt Romney is the BEST candidate, vote for him. If in your heart you believe that Ron Paul is the BEST candidate, vote for him. Do not vote for the lesser of two evils. Do not cast your vote merely to select a Republican over a Democrat. Always follow your conscience...and you'll never be sorry.
Thanks for letting me voice my opinion.

I think it past the point of voting for the best candidate. It is time to vote against mccain...

I just don't want to throw away a vote on Paul when I know he doesn't really have a chance up against the rest...Romney will get my vote! I'd vote for Charles Manson to keep McAmnesty from entering the Whitehouse...
What part of illegal don't you understand?

WHY? Because McCain is no different than they are and maybe even worse because he would then think that he would have the conservatives to back him up in Congress and knowing the DC attitude of back your own he just might. I would rather that the Republicans were fighting a Democrat and openly.
So you have to weigh your options. I could still vote for Tancredo in the primaries, but is that what he would want. NO!Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Holding out for the best candidate makes as much sense as looking for your best rifle to defend yourself from the bear that just broke through your window when you already have a high caliber pistol in your hand.
Does anybody have any other analogies that can break the spell of the idealists who refuse to stop John McCain with Mitt Romney? The Ron Paul line of 'reasoning' is irrational and dangerous.[b] If we do not insist on Voter ID, how can we stop illegals from voting?

It's sad that our country has gotten to this...it seems like it's this way the past several elections...people voting for the lesser of two evils...or someone who is pretty good, but in your heart of hearts isn't the best candidate. Real change won't happen until you stick to your guns and vote your conscience. And do this consistently, day after day, year after year. I'm sad to see so many people voting for Romney just to stop McCain. Instead of voting for him because he's their favorite/best choice. I just hope that people wake up, stop listening to the Mainstream Media, Fox News, CNN, etc. I mean, you can still listen to them, but temper your judgement with info from other media sources, as well as your own heart and common sense. There are people doing just that, and that is encouraging...it's just so sad to see so many good voters (the majority of the population) doing what their favorite talk show host says, or pastor says, or neighbor says, instead of really making up their own minds.
Well, I'm off to plant some signs for my favorite candidate.

Have fun, Ostrich. If it makes you happy Ostrich, then by all means spin your wheels all you like, buddy!
In the meantime, we'll be here facing the reality of the situation and doing the work of trying to stop AMNESTY.

We've been stopping amnesty pretty consistently for the last few years while our current RINO President has pushed for it, and we'll continue to stop amnesty in the future if we get McClintobama.
It's really disappointing to see all the hostility directed at people who are voting their conscience, but not supporting the candidates being offered up by the Lame Stream Media.
I'll say this about Ron Paul supporters. They are pound-for-pound some of the most well-informed voters in this country, and it's good to see that they are sticking with their principles, even in the face of withering fire from folks who are SUPPOSED to be their ALLIES.
Arizona GOP pushing tough, new border policies, but faces strong...
