A better title would be "Elvira Arellano's Plight As Told By Hollywood Propagandists," but I suppose that title would be too lengthy.

I went to the UA at Sheepshead Bay to catch some good movies for a change-in this case, Juno and Tim Burton's marvelous cinematic adaptation of Sweeney Todd-when, apropos of nothing, a trailer for this piece of pro-illegal garbage played over the screen.

The worst part though-by far-was the comparison to Cinema Paradiso, one of the greatest movies of all-time, and one of my favorite films!

What a bunch of BS, so the selfish mom can't go home to care for her child. Oh, that's right he has to come to America to suck off the social welfare programs that they haven't payed in to. Of course we owe it to them because we have it and they need it.

The story of a bond between a mother and son that can never be broken...OH MY GOODNESS! This is my awakening, now I understand, now it's all so clear now I see the light. But they are hoping to reach the sheeple with the message you can bet. As far as I'm concerned they could just as well have named it "Under The Same Sob Story". Buncha bull.

What happened to seperation of church and state? Can't the church that hides or hold illegals, lose their tax-free status? I don't get it. I think the IRS give rewards for turning in tax evaders. We should turn in the ones on the news that are very political... Just a thought

Cinema Paradiso?!

That's what really gets my goat.

The plot outline follows closely a Morroccan movie about a daughter running away to find her father who is an illegal alien construction worker in Spain. At least that movie ended well the father leaves the European girlfriend and returns home with his daughter to his wife in Morrocco.

I don't see a happy Hollywood ending taking place in Guanajuato.
