Mission
The United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce is the leading bi-national business organization working to build mutually beneficial trade and investment relationships in the Americas. How are we different? While other organizations may represent the business interests of one county to another, the U.S.M.C.O.C. is unique in that it promotes business on both sides of the border and has national networking.

History
In 1973, the U.S.M.C.O.C. was established as a 501 (c) (6) non-profit business association chartered in Washington D.C. Now in its third decade of operation, the Chamber has grown into a unique non-profit corporation operating through 17 chapters in Mexico and the United States, plus Bi-National Headquarters in Washington. All chapters and offices, with strong local membership and international contacts, help businesses bridge differences in legal, regulatory, and economic systems, as well as language and culture. The U.S.M.C.O.C. has an excellent track record – the proven leader in supporting and influencing pro-business issues and providing exceptional networking opportunities.


South East Chapter
Established in 2008, the South East Chapter is the most recent U.S.M.C.O.C. Chapter is strategically situated, representing eleven states. All members are invited to all bi-national events as well as events of all 18 chapters across the USA and Mexico, in addition to the events sponsored by the South East Chapter. Events range from local networking opportunities to prestigious bi-national conferences and events that attract top level leaders from all fields in America and abroad.

The theme of the Summit at Atlanta May 12 , at 7:30 p.m.will be Distinguished Leadership. At the Summit, the Congress will honor former President Vicente Fox of Mexico and USMCOC president Mr. Al Zapanta for their untiring and inspirational dedication to the strengthening ties between the U.S & Mexico, promoting bi-lateral trade, and increasing understanding between the two nations. Mr Zapanta and President Fox will have the honor of presenting awards to other distinguished Georgian and international leaders in attendance.

The evening will feature an elegant dinner and delightful entertainment in a splendid setting. Although seating is limited, guests & spouses are welcome.

The Standing Commission on North American Prosperity

"NA 2050"


The Standing Commission on North American Prosperity is an united effort of distinguished individuals from Mexico, Canada and the USA to providesound economic and social policy guidance to the political leaders of the three countries for the prosperity of all peoples of North America.

In the aftermath of NAFTA and the SSP initiatives, a vacuum presently exists in developing a vision for North American prosperity. The lack of such a vision jeopardizes previous achievements in building strong economic ties across North America made during the past 15 years.
The mandate of the Commission is to develop and promote a clear understanding of the natural, human and financial capital of Mexico, Canada and the USA and devise a strategy to optimize the outcomes of integrating the utilization of these recourses to the benefit of all North Americans while respecting the sovereignty of each country. The Commission will meet 3 times a year and will provide “ A North American Prosperity “ White paper to the leaders of the three countries upon conclusion of each session.

The Commission will be composed of up to 200 members from the 3 countries. The Commission will be governed by a Board of Trustees of 10 members per country and an Executive Committee of 2 members per country. The daily operations will be conducted by a Secretariat headed by the Commission Executive Director. Membership on the Commission is by invitation only.

The Commission Executive Committee may invite distinguished individuals, corporations and institutions to become Associate Members and participate in the work of the Commission.

The Inaugural Summit of the Standing Commission on North American Prosperity will be held at Centro Fox in Leon, Mexico March 27-28,2009 at CentroFox, with President and Mrs. Vicente Fox as hosts.

Ummm the North American Union continues ...just how much does our traitors in congress no ??...again the reason our borders are not closed and we are open for any and all illegal aliens from everywhere.

Start going to all local government meetings: City, County and School. We have to keep our government honest, the Chamber of Commerce are in it for the greed and money.

Um, no, the U.S. and Canada are doing fine, the vacuum that exhists is Mexico who cannot seem to economically enhance its own country so their people want to "vacuum" and take away all the resources the U.S. and Canada have... isn't this just a "little" UNFAIR???????????????

Really? Where?

I wish Mexico would stop trying to ride on America and Canada's success as prosperious countries. Mexico is a failure. They need to start educating and training their people to do something worthwhile in their country for a change.
