Hello.

I am new here. A unity in common cause with the Central and South American indigenous, peasants, farmers and working class force united against corporate plutocracy is a legitimate movement in which American working and middle class Americans worried about their economic livelihood can stand. The very same system which has destroying traditional livlihoods and removed the indigenous people and the subsistance farmers from their lands for hundreds of years, is the same one which is beginning to encroach on the job security of the American white middle and working class. The same elites who are rightfully lambasted so often in the populist far right are the real enemies - the ultra rich who view the working and middle class as cattle. It is imperitive for us white people to make the realization of a commonality which will be the only effective resistance to a system which is known to play one group of people off against another in order to keep job competition high and force wages down. The ones really fighting CAFTA, NAFTA and FTAA have been the indigenous and poor people in Central and South America - they have put their lives on the line to defend their peoples right to sovereignty against these plutocratic multi-national financial corporate insitutions. We would do well to join with them in common cause - their struggle is ours as well.

What are your thoughts.

Thanks.
