URGENT Focus Campaign ~ Morristown, NJ ~ 287g
Please help to STOP this Latino group from once again interfering with our legitimate Law Enforcement obligations. This time, they're going straight for Chertoff!!
A statewide Latino organization is asking the Homeland Security chief to reject Morristown's request that his agency give its town police the training and authority to enforce immigration laws.
Whatever efforts you can add to put a stop to these people from hijacking our Law Enforcement is greatly appreciated!

What a bunch of crap. Asking the federal government not to uphold the law.
Chertoff, I dare you to do it. America will come unglued if you listen to the OBL. Trust me, they will.

Here is a letter I just sent out to the Morristown Mayor for support and action in Morristown. Feel free to use it.CCUSA http://www.alipac.us/modules.php?name=F ... 763#332763
Dear Mayor Donald Cresitello,
I am writing today to ask you to please follow the lead of Hazelton, PA and pass strict immigration enforcement measures in Morristown as soon as possible. The federal government is not adequately securing our border or enforcing our existing immigration laws. I feel it is incumbent upon our states and cities to take action to protect communities from illegal immigration. Illegal immigration has many negative repercussions for our communities including depressed wages, increased health care costs, increased costs to taxpayers, increased crime, infectious diseases, increased strain on natural resources and lost American jobs.
While America welcomes 1 million legal immigrants a year, illegal immigration of 15 to some estimates of 20 million cannot be tolerated. In the first five months of 2006, 150,000 illegals were caught at the border EACH MONTH. That is more people breaking into our country than all the people who came here legally in 1820. It is also more people we have breaking into our country each month than we have troops in Iraq. Our immigration laws must be enforced for national security. There are reports that terrorists are learning spanish and crossing the border pretending to be Mexican migrants. While the US government is fighting the war on terrorism abroad, our nations borders, ports are not secured yet. Strict increased immigration enforcement will help secure the country from terrorist, foreign gangs, drugs and identity theft.
Thank you for moving forward to be trained in the 287(g) program which will greatly help with immigration enforcement in Morristown. I hope you will not be pressured by Open Border Groups that would disagree with your actions. They are now petitioning Secretary chief Chertoff to stop you actions. See article below.

Reject Morristown, Chertoff is asked
Thursday, April 12, 2007
A statewide Latino organization is asking the Homeland Security chief to reject Morristown's request that his agency give its town police the training and authority to enforce immigration laws.
In a letter to department Secretary Michael Chertoff, the Latino Leadership Alliance of New Jersey (LLANJ) said Morristown Mayor Donald Cresitello and some City Council members "plan to use the Law Enforcement Partnership program to expound their xenophobic thinking on immigration reform and to create what they perceive as political capital with certain segments of the voting population."
LLANJ argued that the town officials' objective contrasts with the premise of the Homeland Security Department program, which partners selected local, county and state agencies with federal agents in enforcing immigration laws. Organization president Martin Perez stressed that the federal Memorandum of Agreement -- the contract between immigration officials and the non-federal authorities involved – seeks to "pursue investigations relating to violent crimes, human smuggling, gang/organized crime activity."
Instead, Perez argues, Morristown officials seem focused on targeting day laborers in the belief that running them out of town would "relieve" an "overburdening of local services."
In support of their proposal to Homeland Security, Morristown officials have said that illegal immigrants have endangered the safety of the city's residents.
A call to Cresitello for a comment on LLANJ's letter was not returned Wednesday.

English too, should be considered as your official language in Morristown. 30 states have already made English their official state language and the list is continuing to grow across America.
Thank you for standing up with the vast majority of Americans that want our laws enforced and our communities and tax dollars protected from illegal aliens. The vast majority of Americans are not happy with cities enacting illegal santuary policies that do not adhere to the rule of law set down by the federal government. A new Heritage Foundation study found that $2.2 trillion dollar tax bill at the federal level for amnesty for the supposed 12 million illegal aliens in this country. The bill will be even higher if the figure is 30 million. We as a nation must stand up together and protect our country through enforcement of our laws, Please pass these ordinances as soon as possible. The majority of American's appreciate and thank you for standing up for upholding the law. We are all behind you.
Thank You,

Why would I not be surprised if the human skull panders back to them.
It would be nice if we had a leader for the DHS who actually believes in the concept of LAW.
Good letter CC, I sent mine out also."Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting the same results is the definition of insanity. " Albert Einstein.
