Elections have consequences. I don't see why Trump should feel obligated to keep Obama's agreement on this. Just like DACA, it is completely within his power to end Obama's agreement on this.

This was a secret deal put in writing between Obama and Australia that was disclosed after the election. The first article I can find on it is November 12, 2016, and it's the Guardian in the UK.

Even more reason not to honor it. What is Trump thinking? Is he afraid he'll taint our relationship with Australia or is this simply another one of those deals where he is being influenced by someone else?

No, it's just a finished written international agreement. Trump could have stopped it for 120 days with his travel ban because most of these people are from countries that were on his travel ban list, but the courts stopped his ban.

Step by step Trump seems to be reversing his campaign promises and selling us out. Witness DACA reversal, not prosecuting Crooked Hillary, that Australian crap above, AND not one piece of ground has been broken on building The Wall. .... Did he think we voted for him just for the hell of it?
