Utah needs your help this coming week

Both Senator Bennett and Senator Hatch will probably vote for the reform bill. There is pressure on the Senators from the churchs in the state and Govenor Huntsman to pass this bill. Utah is big on illegal immigration. Governor Huntsman comes from big money and has partnered with the Mexican Government. The Congress is also something that you can't count on. Chris Cannon is big on making illegal's, legal.
I am asking everyone to please call these offices. Right now there voicemails are full and can't take anymore calls. When you call they are asking for your location. They are worried about the states voters and that is all.
Please tell them that you will boycott the ski industry in the fall and winter if they do not vote against this bill. Colorado and Utah depend on you to come and ski in there States. Please boycott the ski resorts. Let them know you will not be coming here if they vote yes on this bill.
    Please help us in Utah.

Paige, we have had many of the ALIPACers contacting them this past week. Many of us are getting the same response. I have contacted Bennett and Hatch all last week, and each time I would get in contact with their aides, they stated that both of them hadn't decided on which way to vote.
I know the team here is pounding their offices with calls, faxes, emails, etc.
One of the biggest problems here in UT is we seem to buy into the incumbent BS and keep re-electing these losers. I'm not sure why we do it; however one of the theories I have is we keep re-electing these losers simply because of their religious background.
Please don't mis-understand that statement because I am of LDS background and I am not stating any derigatory comments against the church, but I don't think we should re-elect someone simply because they are in my ward and they belong to the same religion.
If you go to www.ksl.com and look at any article which features the flip flop artist Romney, you will see many comments from bloggers. If you read through them, you will see people who have stated Romney's bad habit of flip flopping to get votes are marked as trolls, or if anyone else mentions Tancredo, Paul or anyone besides Romney, they are also marked trolls.
The only conclusion I can come to as to why his support is so big here in UT is as follows: He's still considered a hero because of what he did for the SLC Olympics, and because of his religious background.
This is strictly my opinion, but many Utahns don't seem to care about his past political record, they just seem to drink the Kool-Aid and accept that he will be a good president because he's mormon and has good family values.
Well I know people from all religions who have just as good of family values as mormons do, and we simply cannot vote in a president who has the same bad reputation of flip flopping to get votes as his father did.
Anyway, this was my vent for the day.

Keep up the good work everyone!

Called and left a message Thursday night. Told both I would be happy to drive them around Denver if they wanted to see what Salt Lake will look like In 5 years.

That church better be careful what they pray for. They are not being good religonists pandering to illegal immigration.
