It is sitting at 27 degrees right now , the wind chill brings it down
to 15 degrees

That is at the airport, my side of town is colder

You might want to wait a while to schedule that Vegas vacation

Of course some of you have it much worse than here , can we say CHICAGO

Umm - my 10hp snower blower can not blow the snow high enough to clear my mailbox. I left a big bucket by the garage last fall and needed it yesterday. Tried finding it with a broom handle, stabbing the snow for 10 minutes with no luck. My red truck is white from salt and my concrete garage floor has crystals of salt growing up as it dries. It looks like white hair. Pretty cool but very hard on the concrete and causes pitting. Oh, its about 15F now. My son called me yesterday to remind me it was like 80F in Florida and he was sitting on a "white" (no snow) sandy beach - the little creap.

I could use Vegas NOW!

Actually I read a story this morning that said some parts of the Texas/Mex border got to like 15 below

I've been over the dam a million times , but havn't tried out this sucker yet

Yeah! that looks pretty cool!

They just opened it last year , I think the discovery channel did a show on them building it.

That area up there is a trip , I've been up there a hundred times , I've even taken the tourist trip down into the dam

Pretty trippy place ,

Of course I've also done a lot of fishing on the lake and in the river
down below the dam.
