Thanks for posting that Jean. I read an article the other day but didn't post it that said most Veteran Organizations are funded by Democrats and that's why they may not want the donations from Trump because it will make their steady donors mad.

Isn't that pathetic? No wonder our poor Vets don't have what they need.

These organizations spend a lot of time working on the government to do things, and based on the VA disaster, they aren't even doing their job there, they're probably just getting grants as 501 C 3's and living the high life styles at the expense of taxpayers and innocent contributors. That's why their expenses are so high and their actual charity is so low.

I find it extremely difficult to believe that most Veteran Organizations are mostly funded my Democrats. A large majority of our members are registered Republicans and the majority of our funding comes from our own membership, family, and friends through organized fundraising events, membership dues, and a VFW Foundation Grant. Our outside donations are limited and the ones we do receive don't come with a declaration of political affiliation.

Well, it makes sense when you think about it. The majority of the US is Democrat, more Democrats than Republicans, especially in large cities, therefore most Vets are probably from large metropolitan areas where the population is and they're mostly Democrats and big donors are from big cities where the power and money schemes are largely Democrat. So it makes sense nationwide that probably all charities are largely funded by Democrat donors.

Actually you would be wrong about the majority of recruits coming from large metropolitan areas. A larger majority of them come from rural America. Unless something has changed very recently, that used to be the case anyway. I suspect it still is.
