VFW post to print poem in newsletter!
Good news!
I emailed my poem, Who Will Speak For me? with a comment that I am asking all Americans to call their Senators and fight against this immigration bill and I sent a copy to every VFW and American legion post I could find. I just got an email back from a VFW post in Alaska. They are including the poem in their newsletter. I hope it will come out in time to do some good!
Every little bit helps!

PAF, congratulations. My parents belonged to the VFW, my father passed away over two years ago, and my mother remianed till recently, when they made many changes, she really has not been as active since. However, she still does get their magazines and newsletters, and I wish this district (?) would publish your letter. Maybe if you sent them (Oregon) a copy, and included that a VFW up in Alaska is publishing it, they might.

Thanks AE!
I sent out hundreds of copies today along with a plea that people call their senators and fight back! So chances are, they got one too!
I am very sorry to hear about your father's passing.
Mine passed away years ago too.

Thanks Paf, it was COPD, and the culprit was smoking. He was simply not old enough to go in my book, he was only 69.
I hope to see your article, I will ask my mother to save her magazines and papers for me to scour."In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, Brave, Hated, and Scorned.
