Xayacatlán, Pue. Last year's presidential candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador charged that the Hummer, the luxury truck displaying the former president Vicente Fox Quesada, was seized by customs in SonoÃ*ta, Sonora, in 2004, and since then was sent to his ranch. "

In the U.S. if the truck was seized because of drug activity it would eventually be sold at public auction with the money being turned over to drug prevention agencies. Or else, the automobile itself, after being condemned by the court, would be turned over to drug enforcement.

Maybe in Mexico, there is a law that forfeits the property to the president - NOT.
