Just a quick reminder...

Over the last few days, with the nation-wide "Tea Party" protests against health care, there have been several "incidents" where people are shown –on camera– being, well, jerks.

Yelling and throwing money at a bedraggled "parkinson's victim", calling black Congressmen the "n word", and accosting Barney Frank and hurling anti-gay slurs at him.

While I don't like freeloaders, or liberal congressmen, I think we all would agree that these kinds of tactics are ultimately counter-productive to any worthy cause.

Obviously, there are sour apples in every bunch. However, my gut (and my sources) tell me that these were plants: democrat operatives who inserted themselves into these crowds to simply make the group as a whole look bad.

So far, it has worked. The MSM is lapping it up.

With Amnesty once again on the political horizon I just wanted to reiterate how VASTLY IMPORTANT it is for us to:

A) Avoid any outright offensive signage, or language (duh)

...and, perhaps more importantly...

B) Quickly, and quietly remove anyone, or any sign, that crosses any of these boundaries.

Also, i would point out that it's desirable for us to collect as much VIDEO as possible moving forward. Especially of incidents like those mentioned above.

Because if someone does, say, show up with an offensive sign, and it gets on the news (and they will –of course–, and they'll use it to "define" the entire group), we will have video evidence of us doing the right thing: firmly but respectfully fixing the situation.

They will most certainly try and show the Tea Party people in a bad light...I am sure many of the tea Party people are video taping things so it can be spread all around to show things and how it really is because our media outlets aren't showing much...

I can totally agree, plants are the more likey culprits in these cases.

Sure, there can be some over the top people who come crawling out of the woodwork, and they are hardly representative of 99.99% of the activists.

When there was the first Tea Party in OR, not one person there was nasty, mean or vile, everyone was decent, so to me this says this is pretty much across the board for all groups across our nation.

First of all, I was not there. But I have been falsely accused previously, and no one spoke in my behalf.

I joined the Minutemen to support Chris Simcox, and George Bush proclaimed I was a vigilante. There was an immediate thunderous response of denial from millions of citizens who know that was not true. They screamed that I only wanted sovereignty of my country and the rule of law enforced. Oh, there wasn't? You mean I was falsely accused and no one said UNTRUE you lying traitor of a president? His single statement was repeated offensively and continuously to malign me and my fellow patriots as though it was a proven fact.

Then I was proclaimed to be a right wing extremist clinging to guns and bibles. So where were those millions of citizens who knew that was not true - that I had a concealed carry license, was an honest taxpaying person of faith who believed in God, sanctity of life, and taking care of myself and others willingly to the best of my ability? Also, add to this mix - a veteran in the US Army, which was declared to be a danger to our country. Our very own government accused my specific profile of being a terrorist. A terrorist!! How absurd. The backlash against these subversives was daunting. Really? You mean all is forgiven and forgotten already?

Then I went to health care meetings scheduled by my representative, and voiced my objections to the proposed legislation. I was accused of many things, from astroturf to misinformed about the purpose and effect. But of course, my fellow millions of loyal Americans jumped to my defense and those who were so offensive to lie about me and my intentions, or my intellect, were certainly sorry they spoke so hatefully. Of course, those in public office who so offended felt obliged to resign. No? Well gee, that's funny, it can be proven they were wrong.

I joined the tea party and went to events and helped with the organization. I have been called many bad things from causing violence to derogatory sexual terms to hating Obama because he is black. Well, the response from our fellow countrymen was deafening, and surely no one will ever say that about me again. You sure they didn't deafen these betrayers? What? They didn't show Rev. Wright clips non-stop on TV as the real hater? Gee, I would have thought they would have drilled in on the hypocrisy.

I have been fighting against illegal immigration for years. I have been called guilty of hate speech, a racist, a xenophobe, a nativist (okay, I'll admit to that one), and even a traitor unwilling to stand in support of global economic progress. I am called everything vile from Hitler to a destroyer of families. The response from my fellow citizens who agree with the need to protect our nation, borders, culture, language and economic survivability was immediate. Well, maybe not so much.

Do I believe that health care protesters said and did these things? No, I do not. I will scream from every post and pulpit that they lie, they make things up, they plant people in the crowd to say and do these things. And then pretend it is gospel that this occurred without proof.

If they want to claim this, then prove it. Show me the picture, put it out on the TV and in the newspapers and ask people to identify these people. You mean to tell me with all the cameras and news people that not one picture, one recording was posted anywhere? And you expect that I will believe this?

I for one will defend our tea party activists who traveled to Washington DC unfunded by big business or special interest groups. They can hardly afford to do so both time and money. I say a loud thank you for your service fellow tea party patriots and hold your heads high for your beliefs. They lie because that is all they have for a defense.

Just a follow up:

So far I've seen several videos and several analyses of the supposed "n word" video, and so far... there is NO evidence.

Either the Congressman made it up.

Or he misheard.

Or it was a plant.

Or it was a lone wolf idiot.

Either way, it's a fact of life that THAT is what the Main Stream Media chooses as a defining example.

That is done as a last resort to try to discredit the patriots. When they can't bring facts to the table, lies work just as good if they can be plastered all over the media.
