A 13 year old female American child and student was assaulted by illegal alien supporters at Athens High School in East Texas on Monday April 7, 2008.

The illegal aliens and illegal alien supporting students attacked her because she brought a sign to school for a class project that reads...

"If you love our nation, stop illegal immigration"

Melanie Bowers was choked and her face was slammed into a brick wall while surrounded by 20 Latino students.

Male students threatened to drag her into the bathroom and rape her before stabbing her to death.

The Associated Press article has described this simply as a "scuffle" where verbal insults were used.

ALIPAC is calling on local police and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to arrest each illegal alien supporting student that attacked this child, check their immigration status, check the status of their parents, and deport every illegal alien involved in this situation. The authorities and the school system must send a clear message that in America we do not violate civil rights and suppress free speech with mob rule, violent attacks on children, and threats to rape and murder. This is America, not Mexico and the Rule of Law must be applied to send a clear message.

Hey Judicial Watch, AJC, etc - how about taking up her case in a civil suit against the perps, and maybe even the school as well???

I thought that incident was extremely serious.
I hope the police and ICE will follow up on your suggestion and arrest and deport those responsible for this. An example should be made because otherwise this could be the beginning of something a lot more serious. And its also a preview of things to come if it isn't stopped. It seems like our kids are not safe in school anymore.

Just one more example of the insolent, arrogant and hateful MOD EDIT. How bad does it have to get before the do nothing politicians and the gutless school administrators grow some balls?? Principal DeRosa was it? I guess we know where his loyaties lie. That is exactly the problem. Even if some of the perps were legal, this should make it clear that it is us against them. and any on our side who refuse to take a stand should be summarily dismissed and replaced.

Melanie was assaulted. Look at the marks on her body. That alone is enough to press criminal chages against her attackers.

America needs to send a clear message that this will not be tollerated. Melanie was attacked for her free speech rights and she is an American. Since she was only attacked by Hispanic students, this is possibly a racially motivated attack.
