VIDEO: Mexican Congressmen fight in chambers!

A Mexican Congressman Fisticuff! Better Than A Cockfight?

    http://english.people.com.cn/200611/29/ ... 26363.html

Deputies from Mexico's ruling right-wing National Action Party (PAN) on Tuesday occupied the stage in the country's legislature, the Congress, to ensure that their president-elect, Felipe Calderon, can be sworn in on Friday.

Jorge Zermeno, president of the Chamber of Deputies, also from the PAN, said that the legislature would resume proceedings at 9:30 a.m.local time (1530 GMT) on Friday.

The PAN said its members would not leave the stage until Calderon had been sworn in as president.

However, deputies from the opposition left-wing Revolutionary Democratic Party (PRD) had previously said they would occupy the stage to prevent the inauguration ceremony, as part of a campaign against Calderon, who they claim stole the country's July presidential elections.

The floor of the legislature became the scene of a shouting match with PAN legislators chanting "Felipe Felipe", while opposition supporters shouted back "Felipe va a caer" (Felipe will fall).

A PAN legislator, Ernesto Vieda, said that "if the PRD plays dirty we will play dirty. They began this and we cannot allow them to have their way."

On Sept 1, PRD legislators blocked outgoing President Vicente Fox from making his annual report before Congress, to protest against what they claimed were fraudulent elections on July 2, which denied Lopez Obrador the presidency.

That's a very good example of the level of civility in Mexico. Remind you of some protesters?

I'm wondering how much, if any, our government played a role in these elections. IMO, too much has already been invested into NAU/SPP for the U.S. to have 'allowed', if you will, the election of anyone other than Calderone. Wouldn't their socialist candidate have cabashed things?

Well well well......... has anyone forwarded this to their traitors in the House and Senate yet?

I am going to. As the demographics change "this" is the caliber of people who will be seated in the pristene House and Senate.

I hope I live to see the day that those who betrayed this country are on the receiving end of the fists of their unruly conquerors. I know that's not charitable but it is honest.
