Why am I not surprised? Lets give out more visas for highly skilled immigrants while the American citizen can't find work. Let make more laws. Cornyn, how about we just find a way to enforce the laws we already have. The only thing wrong with out immigration system (which I am very familiar with) is the bureaucratic red tape that gives government employees and excuse for not doing their job. Most of these people who work at USCIS would be fired in any other job. Maybe Cornyn and the rest sitting on their tail ends in Washington could walk on over to USCIS and start insisting that people do the jobs they are paid to do.
Had Texans had some choice when Cornyn ran last year he would be on the outside looking in. Anyway, I didn't cave in and vote for him and instead wasted my vote on an Independent candidate. Now that he is in he will be another John McCain. And the Republican party can't see why they are losing members? Sheeesh!!!Certified Member

It shows just how these frigging politicians are traitors to the American people. But we keep electing them. To me they are all "DUNG".

Just once I wish one of these Amnesty Fools would go ahead and give a projection of the costs that will be involved. 80% of the IAs have very little education and will be a burden to whichever community they reside in. So Sen. go ahead and say "We want to give a Trillion dollars of taxpayer money to these poor people over the next 20 years. Of course as the chain migration grows more will be needed."

CIR is a joke. What ever they come up with won't be enforced, just like the so called solutions of 1986. CIR is another attempt to play the American people like a flute in an effort to drive down wages that the corporate masters will pay while the cost of their goods and services remain the same, thus they will reap higher profits.
Our current immigration laws work ONLY when they are enforced..and that's something a lot of people do not want. What makes these fools think that any new laws that come about will be enforced?Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

It's time to thrown out the garbage and put folks in office who will protect American citizens and their rights! This kind of pandering and groveling makes me ill!
