Thread: Got Banned from GOPUSA.com

Yeah I know, why should I be surprised but here is what happened.

I have been a member for about 3 years and have been able to convince many forum members that the republican party is not on our side.

I responded to a post by Terri Hillhouse the forum admin and she went ballistic

I know this is a hard fact to swallow but Gilchrest ran on one issue and one issue only.

Illegal immigration.

If that one issue was really as important to the voters as we would like it to be then Gilchrest would have won, hands down, no matter who was running against him or how they went about it.



This is my response that got me banned:

Long time no see.

I cannot believe that you support a party that is selling the American worker out.

The GOP is for H1B visas, unlimited guest workers, amnesty, and the destruction of the middle class today.

It used to be my party before the chamber of commerce bought and paid for lying politicians that think putting Americans out of work and importing cheap labor was more important than the Americans that put them in office.

What happened to the 1996 GOP Platform which in part read
“We must set immigration at manageable levels, balance the competing goals of uniting families of our citizens and admitting especially talented persons, and end asylum abuses through expedited exclusion of false claimants.”

Long time Republicans are sounding the alarm like Phyllis Schlafly and Byranna Bevens about the dangers of the GOP backing un American Immigration Policy.

How you can continue to defend the un defensible amazes me. If things continue you may be the next worker without a job replaced by some Indian Web master that is given an H1B visa by Arlen Specter's H1B visas expansion plan.


I then filed a complaint to owners of the website and she lied about banning me to the owners. She sent me this and I am still unable to login:

I can reset your password but we might as well clear up a few things first. If you come back to the forum with the same attitude you have displayed in the past you will not be there long.

You seem to have a misunderstanding of GOPUSA.

It is a privately owned website and is not run by the Republican Party. The owner and staff are conservative Republicans by choice. While all conservatives and even liberals are welcome to post there we are under no obligation to put up with someone who has a grudge against the president or the Republican Party and wants to use our forum to vent their anger.

The owner and staff of GOPUSA are all against illegal immigration but we are not one-issue people. We understand that there are many reasons to choose a Party and a president, not just one. We expect our members to discuss issues that interest them responsibly and not just complain or vent anger.

On the issue of illegal immigration it's important right now to keep lobbying Congress, particularly the Senate, and the White House. We choose to encourage people to do that in a positive way rather than by making our forum a hateful and angry place.

If you want to discuss issues on their merits in a responsible way you are welcome. But if you want a forum to vent your anger against Republicans this is not the forum for you.

You see I used to give money to the RNC and yet I have been banned because the members of their forum were agreeing with my pleas for them to write their senators and congressman through this site and numbers USA . This proves that we are having an effect that the higher ups in the establishment see as a threat.

Despite what she says GOPUSA is a pac that is part of the RNC. By the way this is the same PAC that had Jeff Gannon in the white house press corps. The reporter that was running a Gay porno site.

Just thought you folks would like to see what hypocrites they have become.

They just can't take the truth. To be honest I don't trust either party as far as I can throw them.

High five, ScottyDog! I got banned from there around Thanksgiving time last year. Seems that Terri likes to dog certain people and antagonize them until they give it back to her and then she bans them. She didn't like that I advocated thrid party candidates in light of the fact that the Republicans are running the show now and we still have wide open borders, we still have people taking bribes to pass bad laws or ruin good ones by adding pork. Can't say I miss them because the vast majority are a bunch of sanctimonious slaves to the Bush brigade with closed minds and the idea that their little 20% run this whole country. Boy are they in for a big surprise!

I carefully read your message and it doesn't even come close to being inflamatory. You're writing style is a hell of a lot better than mine; what you wrote was just matter-of-fact facts.

As I see it, I could construe that as an interal message from one conservative to another - hence, in-house stuff. You did them a favor by informing them of a problem that needs fixing. Her response back to you was closer to being inflamatory. Sheesh, you did your duty by identifying the problem to them. They need to be thanking you, not flaming you - they're acting like .... never mind. Okay what's that website again? gopusa.com.

Guess I better head on over there, and jump right in the middle of it. Well, I'm feeling kind of mean-spirited right now, so guess I better do a good workout first and then cool off.

Scotty, I'll go ahead and tell you right now that I'm an unwavering real conservative and those that flamed you over there are obviously not conservatives. Conservatives don't let crooks and foreign nationals push us around. OK, see ya over there after you get reinstated.

ScottyDog, where is the message you posted over there? I went over there and joined, but I can't post anything yet, so guess I gotta give em time to decide.

How long ya figure I'll last 'till they ban me? If they do that "globalism is conservative," I'll eat em alive 'cause globalism is NOT conservative. Globalism is (among other things) Hillary Clinton's relationship with Tata.

That still chaps my hide - what you gave 'em was useful, constructive criticism. If they can graciously accept criticism, they become stronger.

I'm registered over there, and I'd llove to see that link myself.

Maybe we should all join up over there, so we can pick up the slack, since Scottydog won't be there. If all of us started posting and were very diplomatic with our posts, we could probably sway a lot of people on the forum, to our way of thinking.

Thanks for all the support you guys, I am honored that you think that I was being reasonable.

The members on the forum were coming my way over the last 3 years I was there. It went from the kool-aid defenders of Bush to support for Tancredo and numbersUSA. I think Terri was threatened by my posts.

Sorry for taking so long but this is the first time I have been able to get onto the forum since it went down yesterday.

I still cannot login she has refused to authorize my login and will no longer respond to my e-mails.BTW I am ScottyDog over there as well but I was registered there under a different name previous to my ScottyDog so it shows that I joined in 2005. I was warned numerous times that I may be banned under the previous name so I re-registered but even that did not work.

When did you become a Republican again? It must have been since yesterday afternoon when you stated that the Republican Party used to be your party. My simple response to you that it is not surprising to find Republicans on a Republican forum should be taken to heart. There are many Republicans on the forum and if you are there simply to bash people because they are Republicans then your stay will be short indeed.

Our members are not required to be Republicans but we do expect them to address issues and not to bait others, including moderators or administrators. Those who choose baiting as their method of discussion are subject to being suspended or permanently banned without notification.

That said, you were not banned, at least not yet. Your account appears to be in perfect order.

Actually, if you go read the posts, there are about ten people who are nasty and swarm anyone who dares to disagree with their POV. Terri Hillhouse is on a power trip and she loves to nag anyone who doesn't agree with her until they either quit posting or they jump back at her so she can ban them. There are people like that on the Democratic Underground, as well. They just don't want to know that there are two sides to every story and they definitely don't want to hear that they aren't always right. People like Terri are the reason that a site called "It's My Party, Too" exists.
