Why the title? What vote-I think you mean the tax compromise, right?

I'm confused....the title says" Vote in Senate tomorrow the 13th"

The the post says it has died in the Senate.

    Which Bill....Dream Act or
    Tax Compromise?

If the e-mail is referring to the vote last week, then it's not what you think. Reid tabled the motion to consider DREAM so he can bring the bill passed by the House to the Senate floor this coming week.

Don't know when DREAM will crop up, but presumably it will be after the tax bill is passed by the Senate.

I don't trust that snake for a second

Oh well, Back on senate watch tomorrow

He can also try to sneak it into another bill , or he can try to
pull up just the house version

The senate version that they tabled probably is dead
But not the house version , that is the one he will try to get done

Is it possible to attach the entire house bill to another bigger appropriations bill or omnibus in the Senate? I asked this question earlier today, but didn't receive a clear answer. I chatted with Mickey Kaus about it too, and he's stumped.

Even though that's likely we should NOT stop calling them because Reid and Dirtbin may try another last-ditch attempt to grant the illegals their down-payment amnesty. Reid, Dirtbin, and their cronies may still be trying to bribe other Dems with pork for their votes at this moment!

It's NOT over until this session has ended.

Furthermore, you can bet that the Dems will promote amnesty again in 2011 so be prepared for another fight although it'll likely be easier with more Rs in both chambers but we still shouldn't let our guard down!

Yes , As head of the senate he has the power , just like he tried to attach it to the military bill

We have lots of folks watching , people that know exactly what kind of tricks he is trying to pull

I would assume that this week coming , they have to get the tax issue delt with and it is by no means going to be an easy fix

WE ARE WATCHING , we are taking names and keeping notes
