I realise that they have no way of knowing who I voted for but they can
now find out if I voted, where I voted and when, thus the loss of my
priveledge to voting privacy. I've always felt that the
vote should be upheld with the utmost reverence and respect since that
was the only way it can be done and still be a private vote. The frauds
have reduced our elections to the equivelent of something you'd expect from
    a bannana republic.

I can't imagine how it is going to cost anyone $2 to train election officials to take an ID whe people vote. The last few years I have voted they were already asking for ID's. I would are smart enough to pick up an ID and read it.
Lol, you gotta teach them how to tell a fake ID when they see one and to
understand that a matricula card doesn't count. Also what Shiela Jackson
Lee looks like so they'll run her off if they see her campaigning to the
    waiting line again

    Def
If the race card is the only card in your hand, you're not playing with a full deck.

So would you rather have a person voting through absentee ballots in 20 different places, illegals and non citizens? People who have been dead for countless years? I don't see the harm in letting them know you voted which honestly won't even happen as its simply a door check and they aren't writing down bio info and such. No different then a club checking your ID at the door to see if its legit and you meet the civil requirements to vote.

And yes training those crews how to spot a fake ID and such will cost some money. I'd think $2 million is a bit far fetched for it but possibly. But as it stands right now so many fake IDs and a fair number of the ones that are fake look fairly real to any untrained eye. It also fills a very much needed gap where people could scream discrimination because their ID wasn't accepted while they claim its real, thus training helps eliminate that.
