Voters Finally Wise Up calling Obama a “liar.”

Too Bad the American voters didn’t realize this sooner. As Democrats ramp up a midterm version of President Obama’s successful 2012 divide-and-conquer campaign strategy, a new poll shows the limits to that approach. The latest Fox News poll shows that voters have little trust in the president these days, with 61 percent of respondents saying Obama lies about significant issues “most of the time” or “some of the time.” That includes 38 percent of Democrats and 63 percent of independents. This survey goes beyond the conventional “honest and trustworthy” measurement common in polls and tests the loaded term “lie.” For so many to say that the president lies is a big deal in a country where trust in government continues to crater. But there’s a more pressing, practical concern for Democrats as they try to cling to a Senate majority. The Obama 2012 strategy relied on using the trust voters placed in him. Obama could vilify his rival and still claim the high ground because American voters were inclined to take him at his word. That redoubt is no longer accessible to him and his party.

Now that the voters see Obama as a liar. Maybe the will wise up about Hillary Clinton. Everything Hillary Clinton has ever been involved in has been without controversy unethical behavior , lies and murder…

Poll: 60 Percent of Americans Think Obama Lies on Important Issues

According to new polling released by Fox News, the vast majority of the country believes President Obama lies on important issues.

About six in ten American voters think Barack Obama lies to the country on important matters some or most of the time, according to a Fox News poll released Wednesday.

Thirty-seven percent think Obama lies “most of the time,” while another 24 percent say he lies “some of the time.” Twenty percent of voters say “only now and then” and 15 percent “never.”

It isn't just Obama's typical foes who think he's less than honest, Democrats and single women aren't too confident in his truth telling abilities either.

The number of voters saying Obama lies “most of the time” includes 13 percent of Democrats. It also includes 12 percent of blacks, 16 percent of liberals, 31 percent of unmarried women and 34 percent of those under age 30 -- all key Obama constituencies.

For President Obama, these numbers don't matter much, but they do matter for Democrats up for election this year who have been avid supporters of Obama's policies. Democratic support for Obamacare in particular continues to weigh on the minds of voters, especially voters who have lost the healthcare plans they were promised they could keep.

A Fox News poll released Wednesday shows 60% of Americans believe President Obama “lies to the country on important matters some or most of the time.” According to the poll, 37% think the President lies “most of the time.” 24% believe he lies “some of the time,” and 20% of voters say he lies “only now and then.” Finally 15 percent responded that President Obama “never” lies.
“Most Americans believe that the president lies on important issues,” Glenn said on radio this morning. “Love this.”
Perhaps most interestingly, that 37% figure of people who believe the President lies “most of the time” includes swaths of his key supporters: 13% of Democrats, 12% of blacks, 16% of liberals, 31% of unmarried women, and 34% of those under age 30.
Yesterday, Glenn discussed President Obama’s appearance at a Pennsylvania community college in which he admitted his administration often sounds like a “broken record.” When you couple that with the endless Obamacare-related ‘misspeaks’ and ‘mistruths,’ Stu believes the President is fully aware of his problem with telling the truth.
“I’ve come to the conclusion that Obama had some sort of personal revelation recently in which he himself feels that he’s been lying all this time,” Stu said. “But [he feels like] no matter what I say, no matter what I do, they’re not going to like it. So forget even trying anymore. I’m just going make the numbers up. Whatever we have to do to… I don’t think he’s attempting to tell the truth anymore.”

The secrecy of the Obama administration has become legendary. The Associated Press and other news organizations have sent letters to the White House protesting its policy of denying access to the press at “private events.” Still, Jay Carney has a different take:

“There has never been a more transparent administration.”

In October, a report released by the Committee to Project Journalists – who interviewed more than 30 veteran journalists – found that reporters from many major media outlets consider the Obama administration themost closed-off in recent memory, and that there is not “any precedent” for its often hostile relationship toward the press:

The Obama White House’s war against leaks, and its penchant for secrecy and noted lack of transparency, are the worst “since the Nixon administration.”

Hey, I don’t want to be snarky, here, Jay, but perhaps you should explore a career in stand-up comedy after your gig at the White House is over.

Timing is everything in politics and the latest Fox News poll suggests the timing of the 2014 midterm election could not be worse for President Obama and his fellow Democrats.
With public approval of Congress in the single digits, senators and representatives in both parties may face the most challenging political environment of their careers.
But the Fox survey makes clear that things aren’t breaking well for Obama, either, and his popularity rating may be the most important factor in determining how Democrats fare in November.

Liar, liar, pants on fire

Presidents have been unpopular before. Harry Truman’s approval rating sank to 23 percent at one point and Richard Nixon was so unpopular that he became the first chief executive ever to resign.
But when was the last time an American president was thought by half of his countryman to be a routine liar? According to Fox, 61 percent say Obama lies on important public issues all or some of the time.
Thirty-seven percent say Obama lies “most of the time,” while 24 percent say he lies “some of the time.” Only 15 percent say Obama “never lies.”

Keep digging on IRS

As troubling as the public perception of Obama’s honesty likely is for Democratic strategists, another result of the Fox survey may ultimately prove just as politically damaging.
Forty-nine percent of the Fox respondents believe Obama intentionally had the IRS target and harass his Tea Party and conservative critics in the 2010 and 2012 elections.
And 67 percent say Congress should continue investigating the IRS scandal, including 77 percent of Republicans, 67 percent of independents and 57 percent of Democrats.
If these trends continue through Election Day, the results may make the 2010 Republican sweep look like a close contest.

What a stunning turnaround! I suspect that his lies re Obamacare and his dumping "refugees" on unsuspecting towns has caused people to actually think about what he says.

From day one of his first campaign for president, 'Bama has been channeling Bill Clinton. Someone in Clinton's camp discovered that you could say contradictory things in the same speech and get away with it. Well, 'Bama got away with it. Of course, having a fanboy/fangirl press which will is very slow to criticize him also helps. But it does look as if Americans have finally figured out that he's lying to them.

A previous poll showed that they think that immigration policy should put Americans first.

HIs disdain for ordinary Americans is astonishing. This guy can get away with saying publicly that he'll grant amnesty to millions of illegals as soon as the midterm elections are over. Yikes.
