Voting: the most precious, revered aspect of citizenship
Remember when, growing up in school, in those history and government classes, you learned that voting was the most important right you could have? How you were to revere your citizenship, and along with it, the right it gave you to involve yourself with the process, and to be a part of the democracy?
Well I guess the government is telling us that's all out the window now.
Your citizenship means squat, basically. Your voice means no more than some Mexican illegal with allegiance to La raza.
Ain't it grand?
