The Washington Post published an editorial on Thursday calling for the Republican Party to reject the will of its primary voters and to stage a brokered convention to prevent Donald Trump from becoming its presidential nominee.

The editorial argues that Trump is a dangerous demagogue who must be stopped by and legal means necessary:

DONALD TRUMP’S primary victories Tuesday present the Republican Party with a stark choice. Should leaders unite behind Mr. Trump, who has collected the most delegates but may reach the convention in July without a nominating majority? Or should they do everything they can to deny him the nomination? On a political level, this may be a dilemma. As a moral question, it is straightforward. The mission of any responsible Republican should be to block a Trump nomination and election.

… Mr. Trump must be stopped because he presents a threat to American democracy. Mr. Trump resembles other strongmen throughout history who have achieved power by manipulating democratic processes …

We are not advocating that rules be broken, but that they be employed to maximum effect – to force a brokered convention and nominate a conservative candidate who respects the Constitution, or to defeat Mr. Trump in some other way.

Pathetic. Despicable. Shame, Shame, Shame on the Washington Post. "reject the will of the voters" .... that's been the DC End-Game for at least 40 years and they're scared to death we're about to elect a President who will refuse to play that evil game. They are having a Fright Night over Donald Trump who they believe will secure the borders, who will build the wall, who will deport illegal aliens, who will reduce legal immigration, who will fix our trade deals, who will bring our industries and good jobs back to America, who will raise the standard of living for our citizens, who will cut federal spending, who will bid contracts properly, who will fix the budget, who will refuse to engage our country in wars in which we have no national security interest, who will make friends with important countries and build better alliances, who will improve our infrastructure, fix our education problems, and actually represent and serve the will and interests of American Voters.

I've never read such a despicable editorial in my life. The wickedness of claiming to save American Democracy by rejecting the will of the American voter is just shocking, stunning and oh yes sickening.

vote them all out if they do this. Replace all these good ole boys. Past time for some new blood anyway. Anyone holding office should be out, There are millions of people in this country. There has to be people that can do better than these bunch of crooks.
