Terminology Question - you tell me.
As we all know.....
Illegal Aliens are best described as:
"Illegal Aliens or
Invaders"
The mainstream press mostly calls them "undocumented, etc."
In describing this link,
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060310/ap_ ... _arrests_2
the Drudge Report titled the link
"Criminal Immigrants." The long title of the link is:
Homeland Security Reports 'Criminal Immigrant' Gang Arrests...
Is the term criminal immigrant an appropriate term to describe illegal aliens? The argument is that, as soon as they cross the border, they break the law and they're criminals.
Now, arguably, they aren't "immigrants" per se' because they're not here to immigrate, instead, they're here to break the law (and to break many other laws).
With that in mind, is the term "criminal alien" even more appropriate?
What part of "We don't owe our jobs to India" are you unable to understand, Senator?

I like it. They all sound terrible. Illegal Alien, Criminal Alien, good.
Stick with the best adjective which most truthfully describes their action (Breaking U.S.Federal Laws ) and their status (unkown, and possibly dangerous).
I'm not going to apologize for the truth, nor should anyone else have to.
