Watch Obama Refer to Himself 119 Times During Hillary Nominating Speech

Addressing the Democratic National Convention on its penultimate night to lay out the case for Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign, President Obama began by recalling his political debut at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. He then described how his family has become so well known to America in the intervening years. He spoke of his time in office, how the presidency has physically aged him, but how his daughters euphemistically note he now looks more "mature."

He spoke of everything he is proud to have achieved -- passing ObamaCare, expanding clean energy production, reducing consumption of foreign oil, passing the Iran deal, bringing troops home, killing bin Laden.

He spoke of how inspired he's become meeting Americans of all stripes. He spoke of his optimism. He spoke of the values he imparted from his family.
If it's starting to sound like Obama talked a lot about himself, that’s because he did.

In total, we counted 119 times Obama referred to himself during his speech ostensibly about Hillary Clinton.

Note that in arriving at this calculation, we included mentions of "we" when he was clearly including himself as part of the plural pronoun; the many uses of "we" in referring to America at large were not included. "Me," "myself," "our" and his third-person reference to "a half Kenyan grandson" were also included.

Obama's speech was all about him, just like his soon to be 8 years in the Oval Office have been all about him. No surprise there. Listening to these Media Democrats and their bias on all the coverage of both conventions has really been sickening. They'll set up the panel with 5 commentators, 4 loud mouth Hillary Supporters and 1 Republican or Trump Supporter. It's disgusting. The Media Bias in this election is putrid. Talk about a "free press"? No, we don't have a "free press". We have a Biased Press, owned lock, stock and barrel by billionaires in the Democratic Party.

What I find even more amazing than that is American citizens actually believe he has done a good job for our country. When pressed about specifics they offer nothing. The future impact of the skyrocketing US debt from Obama and the reality of illegal not legal immigration is poorly understood at best by his supporters. Most of them are unaware of the realities of these two monsters that undermine the security of this countries future.

What may even be sadder is most Obama and Clinton supporters interchange illegal and legal immigration as the same. Si if you don't support illegal immigration they see it as you are against immigration period.

I don't think that the support of Obama has anything to do with his policies in general. Obama was elected because of his race, speaking ability, and general "cool" status. He was elected as a type of celebrity to make history. He did that. He won, he won twice, and few people want to criticize him for his actual actions and policies for fear that they are attacking the first black President of the United States. That's okay. We've suffered from the policies, we've degenerated from his actions, but if a portion of the country wants to give him the pass because of his historic election, then let them have it.

Whether they approve or not now really doesn't matter, the damage from his policies have been done. Americans whose lives were ruined from job loss, wage deflation, closed businesses, lost savings, lost homes, kids who couldn't afford college, parents who couldn't afford loans, American Kids who couldn't get a seat in college because illegal aliens and immigrants took them, children and loved ones murdered by illegal aliens lost, gone forever, these lives can't be made right, that damage is forever and those who support Obama are saying we don't care about you who suffered and lost.

The irony of course is the Muslim parent of the soldier who died in Iraq who spoke at the Democratic Convention who attacked Trump, when Trump was against the War in Iraq. Hillary Clinton voted to go to War in Iraq, yet this Muslim parent wants to attack Trump and endorse Hillary, Hillary who of course has "sacrificed nothing". If Trump had been President, the man's son would have never been in Iraq to begin with.

Something voters who aren't on the Trump Train yet should contemplate.
