Wayne Allard (R-CO) will not commit to a "no" on c

Allard's noncommittal is worrisome because he voted against S2611 last summer, and against cloture twice on S1348!

Yet will not commit to a 'No' on cloture for S1639!

Colorado Activists & others, please put the heat on your Senator Allard!!!

Just called. Spoke to a female DC staffer who was tight lipped and rude. Didn't care to hear what I said and she couldn't get off the phone fast enough when she realized I was against the Grand Amnesty plan. I doubt my message gets relayed to the Senator. Now I'll call one of his state offices.

Just called his Denver office and spoke to a male staffer who was much more accomodating than the DC staffer. Allard is riding the fence, much like Burr. He did vote no on that last two clotures and has issues and skepticism on the bill but he is not coming out with any statement. So the inference is that he may vote no on cloture but that is far from certain. I discussed with the staffer many points against the bill and further stated that if he (Allard) doesn't run 180 degrees in the opposite direction of his fellow Senator Salazar, he'll have a scarlet letter 'A' fixed to his forhead for the rest of his political career.

Give him more calls from others in ALIPAC!!!

I thought this was highly irregular behavior for Allard to be so evasive!
    Thanks zeezil!

Zeezil, I got the same response from the Denver office. The guy said he wasn't sure how Allred was going to vote.
