Thread: We got to see Sheriff Joe Arpaio speak!!

Myself and 2 fellow alipacers got to see Sheriff Joe Arpaio speak. It was a completely amazing experience.

Sheriff Joe spoke for just over two hours. I think he would have kept talking -but the hall was closing! Here are some observations;

**At one point his cell phone rang. It was a reporter. You'll never guess what his ring tone is?? "I did it My Way" by Frank Sinatra. He held the phone up to the microphone so we could hear it.

**During the book signing he asked the person in front of me; "Where are you from or would I be profiling??"

**The jail was having a lot of visitors. He put up a sign that said basically, "If you are illegal and visit you aren't getting out." He said that visiting went down by 40%.

**He said he can't go eat at Mexican restaurants anymore as they all run out."

**There was another gentleman there who looked like Sheriff Joe's brother/double. Joe had fun with that all night. Said he should send this guy out and he can get assassinated.

**He only makes $89,000 per year so doesn't do this for the money. He's given his life to crime.

**Should be in the news soon. He's taken away salt and next month he's taking away pepper from the prisoners. He gets lots of donations. Once a farmer donated her ostriches/emus and he made casseroles out of them.

So much more. It was an exciting night. There were maybe 75 patriots in the audience who were ready to act. Sheriff Joe spoke a great deal about volunteering. He deputizes people.

Wonderful stuff, and I love Sheriff Joe. If McCain had any common sense, Arpaio should be his running mate.

When Sheriff Joe wasn’t informing us, he did one heck of a good job at entertaining us. If you ever get a change to hear Sheriff Joe speak, I strongly recommend you don’t let it slip by.

Sheriff Joe is an American hero, and it was an honor to shake his hand.
Hearing how he enforces the laws will make you feel proud to have heard him speak, and desperately long to have him as your county sheriff. (Heck here in sanctuary Cook County, I’m sure he could have some fun!)

With my daughter being a nurse I really liked his story of how he picked the old fashion black striped prison uniforms. That was when he took control of the county prison the prisoners wore green or blue scrubs, just like Doctors and Nurses do, and he felt the prisoners were insulting the medical staff in all the hospitals. So striped uniforms it was, and with pink underwear because they kept steeling the underwear with the left the prison.

Also, how a female prisoner asked for an uniform that had the strips going up and down, because with the strips going crossed the body made her look fat!

Enjoyed the interview , Good work . Really liked what Sheriff Joe said about Gordon , "He's a lite weight". LMBO
Joe doesn't play the game of other cops and most sheriffs . He keeps his budget in the black plus he knows his business . Most others can't say that
