Thread: We need anual HOSPITAL costs for illegals, State by State!??

I know that just in one year, it was $350 million for anchor babies in Denver, Co. a few years ago, when the topic was HOT.

$350 million in ONE small city? Is there a freedom of information act we can get these numbers with, and get them to someone who wants to push the issue? Any good senators out there????

Wish those stats were available, but I can only think that every hospital is required to treat people without asking citizenship or ability to pay. I see those signs in English and Spanish every time I have gone to an ER to visit someone.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe this was a Supreme Court decision that put this in place.
So any stats would only be a guestimate since the underlying immigration status cannot be disclosed.

Most of these illegals show up for free prenatal care before they actually come to the hospital and give birth. I know a nurse working at a North Carolina Health Department in the maternity section and she said there are days where she never hears a word of English spoken. Prenatal care costs must be added in to the actual hospital delivery cost to get an idea of what each and every anchor birth is costing American taxpayers.

If we want to save money on health care then we need to stop paying for illegals/anchors.

The figure I heard is 400,000 anchor babies a year. Mulitply that by $3500.00 each.

$1,400,000,000 just on BIRTHS OF ANCHOR BABIES.

I am not illegal, and , my hospital bill for the sugery I just had was over 200,000.00

Illegals get special treatment, citizens do not, they are expected to pay their bills and those of the illegals.
