How about some 60's activism for today

You know I was thinking on the way to work that my parents had so much fun in the 60's watching the hippies do their sit ins and their marches.
Now those hippies are in Congress and the media and local governments as well.
I think it would be a good in your face to start doing 60's style sit ins in our Senators local offices. Shut down the offices with the message that our senators need to be in Washington to fix this issue, and that we don't want them home until they do.
Why Senators, well since each state has only 2 I figured it would be easier to get more people into their offices.
    What does everyone think?

That would shake rattle and roll a few walls.

Actually, it would show them that we Americans really do care about America.

is it that they think we don't care or that big business cares more? Should we demand a list of corporate supporters?

What does it take to get the media to do it's job?
You see we have a multi pronged problem here:

    1. Politicians are not representing us
    2. the media is not doing it's job
    3. the courts are trying to create legislation
    4. Congress is trying to usurp the powers of the Executive branch
    5. Our President, both current and the previous two, have broken their oaths.
    6. Our country has been invaded both by illegal aliens and * terrorists
    7. Our culture is under attack, primarily our language.
    8. Our schools have become indoctrination centers for NOT teaching our children.

    Is it too late?

We need a huge march on Washington. I know people here, and elswhere are working on it. We just need to make sure the numbers are there in full, then it is on.....Imagine, the government and the peope are used to minoritiy organizations, feminists, fringe groups etc marching and demanding to be heard, which they often are. It would be quite ironic indeed if everyday middle-class Americans flooded Washington with a sea of American flags to demand that the government listen to us. We are the people who supposedly don't need these demonstrations. We are the people who supposedly Washington looks after. It would be powerful. We would be saying, "Here we are America, here we are Washington. We are being ignored, yet we are America. We are Americana. We are your Yankee Doodle coming home."
