They will go after this guy, but not the illegal aliens.

I wonder if this will motivate them to vote more?

I sometimes have to step away from the subject of Illegal Immigrants. I get so angry when I see our goverment not doing what it is paid to do. I am furious that our goverment is more concerned about the rights of illegal aliens then the rights of its own citizens. I feel what you all on this site is good, and a step in the right direction. But something else needs to be done to highlight the importance of this issue. I wish I knew what the somthing was.

    Angry, angry, angry......

Absolutely disgusting what is going on in this country. Most of the time I wonder if it's even my country anymore. It definitely isn't the country that I grew up to know and love.

for crying out loud, if they are naturalized citizens it doesn't apply to them, if they are illegal citizens what the letter said is the truth isn't it? Our government is no longer working for the citiznes of the US!

Just knowing that illegals can vote in some instances really ticks me off.

You're right about that nitty, the government seems to be working against the majority of U.S. citizens! If there is the perception that there could be a problem at the voting polls in November our Federal Government should be getting the word out regarding the penalities for voting fraud. They should probably be seeking the sender(s) of the letter to thank them, not prosecute them. Heck, I wouldn't mind receiving one of those letters, it would make me feel more secure in knowing my vote was going to count vice be cancelled out by a voting illegal immigrant.

Yes, Dman, it is your country. You are used to living in a country where the laws are enforced. President Bush is allowing it to be a lawless country. That's why often times we don't recognize it.

We cannot allow this to go on. The will of the American people must be listened to and responded to. President Bush should not and cannot deny this. He must face up to the truth.

And who's to say that illegals don't sneak and vote since in most states, the only ID required to register is a utility bill? And at the polls you're only required to show your voter's registration card that was obtained by showing a utility bill as ID. Proof of citizenship is not required to get utilities turned on.

Furthermore, if illegals are bold enough to acquire phony Social security Cards and other fake documents (which they are well aware is against the law), what makes us believe that an illegal immigrant won't be bold enough to vote?

Georgia has put it's Georgia Voter ID legislation on hold due to protests from so-called civil rights groups, stating that requiring a state issued ID in order to vote was unfair.
I've tried to explain to blacks (who have also complained) that the voter ID card will STOP and/or deter illegal immigrants from being Bold enough to vote.... but only a handful tend to listen.

Governer Purdue and other local and state politicians will definitely hear from me regarding getting this legislation passed.

Georgians who are opposed to the Voter ID Card need to get their heads out of the sand.

In this state, illegal immigrants and the employers that unlawfully hire them continue to become bolder and bolder, in spite of the recent Georgia Laws cracking down on illegal immigration.
