Why does our government want the US to go Socialistic?

I have been reading alot of these posts and have seen people make reference to the US becoming Socialistic or Communistic. Why in the world would our government officials want to allow this to happen? Someone educate me here. My dad has been saying the same thing, but cannot give me a rational reason for why.

It's corporate socialism. Between the corporations and the government under their control they have complete control of their labor and consumer markets.... Also known as you and me.

Citizen A is taxed. The funds go to Government B. The Government B spends the taxes on health care for an illegal alien so the funds go right into the hands of corporation C.

Instead of A controlling B, B is controlled by C. A citizen controlled government that keeps corporations in line would prevent illegal immigration but the corporations would call it Citizen Socialism because the government is involved.

Taxes become forced expenditures to keep the economy going. Soon, you are in a hell of mess between your personal debt and your governmental debt to the point you are just working for the benefit of others more than yourself.

Take the red pill Neo. You are in the power plant.

But would this be considered a bad thing? Europe is a Socialistic government and paying high taxes for free health care, education and jobs for life? or being on the dole? Is Europe any better off being this way.

The question wasn't really answered, what payoff does our government get for pushing Socialism?

I could go off on a lecture about this one, but in a nutshell the deal is as follows:

The entire globalization plan amounts to a new feudal system lorded over by the corporate and banking elite. About a century ago, bankers in most of the top economic nations succeeded in replacing real money (money backed by hard commodities - usually precious metals) with fiat currency in the form of bank-issued (as opposed to government-issued) debt notes. These notes, such as our own Federal Reserve Note, do not represent a positive value of gold or other commodity held in reserve, but rather a promise to pay on a debt to the bank. Now, this would not be so different from real money if the banks were required to hold value in reserve that was the equivalent of the loaned amounts, except of course that debt notes annually devalue by the amount of the interest required to redeem them. Sadly, cartels like the Federal Reserve, a private banking cartel and NOT a branch of the government, managed to secure the authority to use the grossly fraudulent fractional reserve system, whereby they could loan many times the actual reserves held. To give you an idea of how this works, let's imagine that I have two gold pieces in my pocket, but that you want to borrow thirty. What would you think about a system in which I could write you paper that you could use for thirty gold pieces worth of credit that you could then spend with the proviso that you had to repay me with cash or credit worth the thrity plus interest? I give you paper even though I have only two gold pieces and in the end I earn thirty PLUS doubling my two original gold pieces so long as I charge at least 6.5% interest. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that in such a system, all property would soon become property of whoever was granted that power.

Well, that's the power we gave the bankers of the Federal Reserve. So powerful was this equation that within a couple of decades the banks owned ALL of the gold that was once the property of our government (which is why the gold is no longer in Ft. Knox, but rather in the vaults of the NY branch of the Fed).

So now, tell me, once the banks own everything and their corporations control everything, do you think they are going to want a bunch of free people tenants running around doing whatever they please? No! They want a pliable workforce that does as it is told. So Communism per se is not the issue. In real Communism, everyone owns everything and the state simply keeps everyone on exactly equal footing. We know that this utopian idea has no merit, but that is the theory of it. Socialism, on the other hand, uses an authoritarian government to play nanny to a bunch of subject citizens. Socialism can feature a ruling elite, and in fact the government exercised in the old Soviet Union was Socialism in lieu of Communism as the union's name suggested (Soviet Socialist Republic). Socialism is the new feudal monarchy, since monarchy per se is outmoded. That doesn't change the fact that many of the key players in the international banking takeover were member of the various deposed monarchies of Europe.

That's probably a good place to leave off, but if you have any other specific questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

To me it sounds like a crappy situation for the masses, but my question again is why does the US government want to go this direction? Is democracy dying out in this country and we are just bending over waiting to either enslave our own people or waiting for a take over from another country. I don't get it.

It's the inherent problem with federalism and the reason that the founding fathers had set this country up exactly the opposite of how it is set up now, with power originating locally and flowing down to the federal government. The federal beast was strictly limited in its powers to those specifically enumerated in Art. 1 sec. 8 and not prohibited in sec. 9 or the Bill of Rights. After the Civil War, the entire thing got turned upside down and states and communities have been losing power ever since.

What this concetrated power does is to allow the modern (and the old) robber barons to control the entire nation and its laws by controlling only a few people. The big corporations also own most of the media, so we hear they want us to hear and are offered as candidates who they want offered as candidates. The process of gaining office becomes so expensive that one cannot even get in the race without major corporate or special interest backing. Once in the race, a guy not willing to toe the corporate line is simply slandered by the corporate media until he is hounded out of the race.

Are you starting to get the picture? Socialism serves the Plutocracy. The government is owned so it does what its owners tell it to do. The People used to be the landlords. They are now the tenants and the banks are the landlords. How many people do you know who own allodial title to their home or lands? Everyone I know has only legal title.

    PATRIOT

First, WELCOME!! Glad to have you asking such important questions.

2nd, If you'll start looking into the agreements with Canada & Mexico called
    NAFTA-------CAFTA---------FTAA
You'll better be able to understand how this situation has come about.

According to these agreements, borders will need to be illiminated, companies will gain monopoly proportions on the N. American continent.

    This is called THE AMERICAS. {also another name can't remember at the moment}

In order for these things to come about and force this under the name of GLOBAL FREE TRADE, America must lose her SOVERIEGNTY ---her borders.

All this is in the NAFTA/CAFTA/FTAA agreements. The first two were already signed and passed without Americans knowing & understanding.

Hope this helps point you in the right direction.

You have a very smart Dad!

One of the things that upsets me so about this, is our soldiers fighting and dieing in Iraq so that country can become a democracy when they don't even have one at home.

    Ahh, SAWDUST

That's one of the reasons why some of us are fighting so hard to stop this horror. On the whole, they're not thrilled about this either but they have to focus on their mission so.......we're helping to pick up the slack here at home.

We've got those goats in Congress running in circles .....keep up the pressure, LOL.
