Next week the Senate will consider the Defense Authorization bill and Senator Harry Reid has announced that he will offer the Dream Act as an amendment to the bill. Please join White House officials to discuss this issue today at 2:30pm EST. This call is off the record and not intended for press or bloggers.

anyone going to try to call in and listen?
i think it senators are there and we can make out ones voice
then it might make for an easy target phone call

obummer is fully committed to pass the dream act and immigration reform.
the bill itself has to be brought to floor with a motion to proceed must pass first. and need 60 votes. if vote fails. the bill wont go to the floor.
McCain leading to oppose motion to succeed.
Vote Early Tuesday Afternoon.
if bill passes. series of amendments offered.
Dingy Harry Reid can invoke cloture on amendment for final vote.
they took a whole three questions.
