    What was the deciding factor

    From LouDobbs.com survey:

What was the deciding factor in casting your vote yesterday?

    Iraq war 34% 3238 votes

Corruption in government 34% 3246 votes

    Economy 5% 513 votes

    Illegal immigration 26% 2466 votes

Lou Dobbs opened his show Tueday night with:

Voters tonight are casting ballots in an election that could have a tremendous influence on the future direction of the country. The results could, in fact, change the conduct of the war in Iraq and determine the fate of President Bush's second term agenda. But this election is unlikely to stop the war on our middle class, to end our illegal immigration and border security crisis, or prevent corporate America from trying to influence our government.

The deciding factor is that BUSH WANTED THE ELECTION TO GO
TO THE democrats SO HE COULD GIVE THE ILLEGALS and big business WHAT THEY WANTED.

It seems like an awfully high price to pay, but he had to see the writing on the wall. Unfortunately you may be right.

I think perhaps the price was higher than Rove and Bush anticipated.

The Iraq numbers could not have been affected. Troops are being killed with the cover being protection of America while everyone can see that an SUV load of terrorist tools can come across the border at will. Looks like corruption too, doesn't add up. This was the Dobbs audience, I think the war was an even bigger factor in the rest of the population.

I'm fairly sure that persons in areas overrun with alien invaders considered even their strong fighters against illegals corrupt once Bush came along shaking hands selling his amnesty. The Soros contractor that dropped the Foley news fed the perception of corruption and the accusations of Hastert didn't help. The MSM did an axe job here. I think we need to get this country weaned off alphabet news. They're enemies of the country.

The only thing I think can be done better is education in our neighborhoods. We've got to do this a street at a time.
