    Snow in Raleigh!

Five inches here but mostly sleet coming down with big wind gusts. I think the wind chill is in the teens!

Anyone else getting snow out there today?

I had snowflakes around midnight, and then it turned to sleet. I don't think I even got an inch. Disappointing.

None here in Idaho, but I've been watching that storm headed your way. It's supposed to be pretty brutal with the ice. Be careful, W.

Got about 5 inches here. I lost my satellite tv but wireless broadband works, heat and lights still on. The mid December snow broke the cable lines and after one week of no repair provided, I switched. The biggest problem here is heavy snow breaks down trees, and the trees take out all lines in their path.

Maryland and DC getting slammed with snow right now. I don't know how many inches yet but it's still snowing pretty heavily. I'm at work in DC right now. When I left home around 7:00am in Maryland this morning it was snowing but by the time I got to DC there was nothing. Right now it looks like maybe an inch in DC.

We have between 6 and 7 inches in Virginia Beach. Still coming down. So far a very dry powdery snow.

Smow buildup on the dish will prevent the signal from going through, brushing it off will fix the problem.
