    What Happens If You're A U.S. Citizen Who Gets Deported ?

    I was wondering if you are a U.S. citizen and say you are deported for illegal entry into another country, such as Australia or Canada or somewhere and committed no other crime, do you just get flown back to the USA and that's it ?

    If it's some of the middle eastern countries, China or some central & south American countries, you're ass winds up in a not very modern jail. Many use extortion and time is most often not an issue.
    Panties on one's head would be the least of the worries.

    Wonder how MEXICO handles the problem? hmmmm?

    I'm sure someone here knows the details but Mexico has some of the harshest illegal immigrant laws in the world.

    Don't have a clue about this end, LEGAL. Assuming, that is, if you make it home.

    Europe and Canada are a different ball game.

    Remember a few months ago, the Texas lawman that went to Mex on a day pass and he was waved past the boundary. They arrested him, took his new $45,000 truck and his family had to wire a lot more money to pay his bail. He got to go home after being fleeced. Nope, GPS system disarmed and Truck is MIA!

    In the countries you mentioned, you would probably get dumped on the US Emabassy, then they would deal with you.

    In some ME or African countries, you probably would never be seen again.
    It's like hell vomited and the Bush administration appeared.

    Yup, but that was simple extortion through corrupt police. {although that's one heck of a chunk of change to be called simple}
    It's not foreign or immigration policy.
