Thread: What If Rich Countries Shut the Door on Immigration?

Ambitious entrepreneurs would stay in their own countries and help build the economies. There would be less of a brain drain on poor nations. It would a great thing for the undeveloped world.

Well, I for one would welcome the chance to-once more-live in a place where everyone speaks only one language in public and we share the same basic cultural values. Multiculturalism is only a blessing when each is allowed to have their own borders and noone is trying to negate/destroy anyone else's culture....I prefer to experience other peoples' cultures through travel and not through my own culture/nation/country being replaced by another culture building another nation/country of their own on top of mine.
