I read where Monsanto "awarded" some project to NCSU. First thought? Oh great, a new Agent Orange...

The scariest part was how the journalists were treated. Like knocking the teeth out of the media.

Very similar to the Jeffrey Wigand Story. Shows how people of good conscience whom come foward to warn the public of dangerous products or purposely hidden facts pertaining to a public heath issue are quickly stomped either by legal means or others threats. i wonder if their still using that crap in our milk supply?

I once wrote an editorial piece about the damage a Wal-Mart off Ft. Myers Beach island would do to surrounding mom & pop businesses. They sent flyers with wording and instructions to contact county commissioners to every resident in the area, and I was nearly fired for going politely ballistic over their nerve, when my friends and neighbors would have had to close their stores because of the Wal-Mart might. What angered me most was there was a super Wal-Mart about 10 miles away. (Happily, the commissioners turned down their zoning request.)
The newspaper corporation was worried about loss of advertising dollars, but Wal-Mart had never and will never advertise with the paper. It all just shows the integrity of so-called news must be slanted toward those with the deepest pockets. There are few news sources that the public can trust these days.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

What is amazing about this story is that it is the basic plot line for a Nick Nolte - Julia Roberts movie called "I Love Trouble", made in 1994. They play competing newpaper reporters who discover essentially the same facts as this duo of Fox reporters. Only their stories get published and the bad guys get punished.
