My relatives fought in this war. I remember my Uncles telling the stories of D-day and my Aunts saying how they wondered if they would see their brothers again.
My family was fortunate as out of six brothers none were killed. Would the people who are sneaking into our country today even know what D-day was? Would they care?

My grandfather, who had served on a battleship in WWI, was now an air raid warden.
My uncle was on a destroyer in the South Pacific fighting the Japaneese.
My mother and grandmother were hoping my uncle would come home alive.
My father would later be part of the US Army's occupation force in Japan.
.......And now millions of illegal aliens invade the US while the President and Congress sit on their hands.
It's time to affix bayonetts my friends!

Parents...
My father was in the US Army, already invading Italy from Northern Africa. My mother was working in a defense related factory.
300,000 Americans died, and allies from Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Great Britain fought together to save the Americas, SE Asia, Africa and Europe. Latin America did nothing except for a small force from Mexico."Men of low degree are vanity, Men of high degree are a lie. " David

My father was flying a B-26 over Normandy early that day, as a Pathfinder.
And, to think that they were fighting for the values and ideals of America, and for America's sovereignty, and look where we are only 60-some years later.

My late Grandfather was one of the frogmen who tried to blow up and remove as much debris as they could before they invaded the beaches of Normandy.
My other Grandfather was a Navy torpedo bomber.
