    Actually, I rather like the Spanish. I have some good friends in San Sebastian, which is just a few miles from the French border. It's the corrupt government and lawless citizenry of Mexico that I don't particularly care for. The language they speak in Mexico is a pretty gutterized version of the original language of the conquistadors.

    San Sebastian and mesiko are like apples and oranges. Different worlds and very different people.

    BTW, I've always loved the romance languages and also have quite a few Latin aquaintances and several good friends. It's saddened me that I've become so disgusted that i don't even want to hear Spanish right now or as you mentioned, the garbled version of it.

    However, on a lighter note.........Spanish Free Zone here, lol.

    Isn't all of this a bit early?? We have a long way to go, people, before we are an 'illegal immigrant free nation'. I believe the day will come. That would be the time for all of this.
